Can somebody summarize the last 4 episodes for me please.

In a perfect world andrea and rick would be dead but I doubt the show would go that way.

I did read about a zombie marathon trend on the airplane today. People run marathons while others dress up as zombies and hide in trees etc. Then the zombies chase after the runners 28 days style. Sounds like a good time to me whatever team you're on.

The zombie marathon you're talking about is called "Run for your life" I think. Looks like fun.

Last 4 episode summary? Andrea goes to prison and tries to make peace. She also finds Tyreese's group and sends them to Woodbury. They tell her hell no and say she should kill the Governor. She goes back to Woodbury and doesn't kill him. Then Rick/Michonne/Carl go back to Rick+Carl's hometown to get some guns. They find Morgan, who is now pretty whacked and has enough weapons for a small army. His son was killed by the zombie mother/wife from the pilot episode we find out. Morgan doesn't go with them, but he gives them weapons. Andrea then tries to get the 2 sides to have a sitdown, which they do, but the Gov only does it to have them hand over Michonne for the promise of leaving them alone (which is a lie, the Gov plans to kill them after they get Michonne). We find out the Gov wants to do the Nazi SS torture thin on Michonne and has a torture room setup. Andrea flees the town to try to warn the prison. Gov chases her and gets her just as she is about to get to the prison, then he puts her in the torture room after he gets back to Woodbury.

I think most of us will probably quit after this season ends. We're invested already. Or hoping the writers get their heads out of their asses.

By the time season 4 starts, most people will have forgotten how bad it is.

I'm hoping whoever was in charge for that episode in town when they met the black guy from the beginning will be in charge of the show next season. Yeah it wasn't perfect or epic, but it was much better IMO. Its just an hour a week, its a habit for me now and my kids like to watch it so its like a bit of time spent together.

Cop out excuses. In reality you all still like the show and wait for it to air every week. "I'll just watch a few more than bail out.." - Whatever. If you want to show the writers you don't like where they're going you know what you SHOULD do? Not watch! Every day you turn the TV on and give them the ratings, you're just acknowledging their actions.

I get it, interweb forums are places to go and bitch but we're on page 14 of people coming in after every episode saying "This show sucks!" yet they keep coming back. Stupid fucking hypocrites.

i still like zombies, and this is the only zombie show. there is no alternative on american TV so basically they have the market cornered. that being said. even the zombies on this show are now boring as fuck and im ready to move on, especially with that spoiler posted previously.

and i totally get why some people still watch this show and then complain about it. its probably one of the few things they can watch with their wife/GF. plus guys are just plain old stubborn and we dont want to admit we are watching crap, but ask yourself this. if your wife/girlfriend loves this show. is it really something you want to watch?

Yes. Are we so elitist now that we can't admit that women can get and like any of the shows and movies we like? My wife introduced me to Doctor Who and has watched a lot of the older stuff, that I haven't. She urged me to catch up on Walking Dead when I wasn't really into watching it, and she's counting down to GoT next weekend almost as much as I am. They're females.. they're not that different from you and I. God forbid they like something we do. Scary thought.

Please don't tell me that you think this is how ratings actually work. You've been coming to this forum long enough where I'm fairly certain you know how it works, but just in case...even if I weren't torrenting the show every week and were legitimately watching it on cable/satellite, just turning on the TV doesn't change the ratings one bit unless I'm one of the chosen few actually picked to DO ratings.

Us watching and coming to bitch about it has absolutely zero effect on the ratings unless we're a Nielsen family, or possibly if we watch it via AMC's site or Hulu. Therefore, I'm going to continue to watch, and bitch about it here, and bitch about it with all of my friends that also like to bitch about it.

5 years ago that's how it used to work. But if you're on a legit company like Verizon, Comcast, TWC, Charter, ratings are also starting to be charted combining internal data the cable companies used based on their own reports, along with Nielsen ratings as well so yes even though you may not be a Nielsen family, your watching habits are factored in and reported to the people who matter. Nielsen alone isn't used to determine who's watching, Hell they never even started considering adding internet/web/alternate based viewership until late 2012.

I think they add in all the DVR ratings now. So if you record the show then watch it within 24 hours of rating your viewership gets added onto the final rating.

I'm not entirely sure if the dvr ratings are added just for nielsen families but it wouldn't be that hard to add all the dvr ratings in since the data is already collected anyways.


I have no interest in watching the show. I'm more entertained by the bitching and I'm still waiting for news of rick or andrea dying so I can watch a clip of it on youtube.

DVR ratings are only factored in as watching live if the DVR recording is watched before 12am PST (3am EST), the same night, for Nielsen.

ahh, I wasn't sure of the specifics. Thanks for the info. I figured it was 24 hours because that's when they update it on tvbythenumbers.com.
