Some people want it to be good, see the potential, and are pretty consistently let down. So bro, fuck you, I'm watching, and if it is bad I'm going to bitcha bout it. They had a decent episode a few weeks back, it isn't as if every single episode is like this. This past one was especially bad though.

I'll monitor this thread for signs of a resurgence in the shows "quality". (I'll really read it for the bitching because I'm entertained by trolling and counter trolling)

I have little faith that the show will turn the page and become something spectacular.

I really don't understand the animosity regarding people bitching about the show. You can easily both like it, to varying degrees, and bitch about it at the same time. They are not mutually exclusive concepts. Likability and watchability are probably orthogonally related. For me, the likability/watchability relationship is marginal. It's still net positive, but not by much. Each season appears to be nearly imperceptibility better than the last, but it's still underwhelming given the source material (i.e. the wiki for the comic book is more interesting than the show).

If you summarized each season, season 3 on paper sounds like it should be awesome shit. Then you realize that if you took just the action from all 16 episodes it likely wouldnt fill even one.

Thanks for the quick display of internet badassery, but you're really not following what's going on here. Chaos summarized it already, but you seem to think all of us are constantly running around bemoaning how terrible this show is. That's not it at all. We watch it, we shake our heads because it is easy to see several ways EACH EPISODE that things could have been done a lot better, and then we come here and see that the majority of the board felt the same way, so we post something along the lines of, "Yeah, that sucked again."

If we were lying awake at night plotting death on the writers/directors/producers for ruining the show, well then yeah, I'd agree with you that that's taking it a bit too much to heart. I don't see any of us really doing that though.

I'm fully on board with those of you complaining about filler now more than ever. Its even making the episodes that I was more forgiving of seem more like the filler they were. This is the worst example yet IMO. Pathetic.

"Let's put Merle together with Michonne and then he spares her life!!!! They will eat that shit up!!!" Its insulting, but I bet it does in fact get eaten up.
