im pretty sure carol didnt kill those people. she wanted to take those girls with her because the creepy kid killed them and she has been trying to cover it up. this show isnt very good at mysteries.

When Rick was examining the kill site he looked at the bloody hands on the door, which were extremely low for a grown person. That scene to me said he realized, or at least was curious, about it. I.e small people.

I don't know. That might be a step too far for even this show.

We know the little girl is a psycho and she is going to cause a whole lot of bad shit to happen... but to do a flashback, where they show Carol executing the sick people with a knife to the temple, and then come back around and say "JUST KIDDING LOLZ, we showed you something that never actually happened." That would be the height of bad storytelling. Is this Murder She Wrote?

She killed two members of the group, in cold blood. He had a revolt on his hands (not just from Tyreese) if he didn't take action. Even when you take morality out of it, he made the easy decision, regardless of whether it was the right one or not.
The thing is who is Rick to make decisions all of a sudden after being farmer Rick for months and prior to that being crazy Rick for who knows how long. He questions Carol as if he can no longer trust her with his kids when it was Carol who took care of his children when he went nuts. Maybe she shouldn't have done it the way she did (I also believe she didn't do it anyhow) but I agree with Lanx she is OG and when it comes down to it fuck Tyreese. I cant imagine the council will be to thrilled with Ricks decision either but you never know what you are going to get with TWD writing.

Like I said Rick doesn't have the moral high ground to make this call himself and virtually condemn her to death by banishment. The way I see it he should have either had words with Carol to never do something like that again and then cover for her (not like the guy hasn't lied plenty before), or brought her before the council to let them decide her fate. Personally, if I was in Carols boots and he pulled some shit like that I would have had no problem blowing Rick away and feeding him to the zombies nearby.

What an awful episode. It was Herschel's Emo Carnival, where feats of stupidity are on display for the retarded and inept.

Someone needs to let these idiots running the show know that "big ominous reveals" only work if people care about, or fear, what you are revealing.

macon is the first city of TWD video game and where the protagonist is from (michonne was looking at a map pointing to macon) that's about the only useful thing for this episode.

I personally enjoyed last nights episode. -shrug- The emo Herschel scenes ran a bit long but otherwise I found the whole thing enjoyable.

most interesting part of this show to me, think it was the first time they have shown dogs.

what are they down to now, a dozen adults and bunch of kids?

Pretty much. Looks like it is the surviving kids, Rick, Carl, Glenn, Maggie, Beth, Hershel, Daryl, Michonne, Sasha, Tyrese, and drunk medic guy. Carol too if you count her in exile. So essentially a reset to pre-Woodbury for the most part.

I should probably neg myself for this as I have hated this show ever since the 2nd season, but I am finding myself at least entertained by the recent episodes so far. At least there's been constant zombie combat instead of them hanging out on a farm jerking each other off or fighting Captain Ahab from Pleasantville. Still, the biggest problem this show has is lack of overarching goal/plot. It's the zombie apocalypse and having some long term goal driving the group such as reaching a supposed "safe zone" or chasing after a "cure" is really missing. Pleasantville, the farm, and the prison should be seasonal sub-plots on the road to the group's end goal.. Instead it's just "Days of Our Lives" in Zombieland with really nothing to look forward to-- that "goal" which would signal the end of the series..

I bet we are in for a few flashback episodes on what the governor has been up to since he left. One of the scenes they previewed was him standing in front of what looked like a burning plantation house.
