My thoughts were the tanks occupants didn't have a main gun shell loaded at the time, and had left the breech open to the cockpit. The grenade rolls down the barrel, pops out the breech and I think we even heard someone inside scream "shit a grenade" or something along those lines. Yeah it is all a stretch but no bigger stretch than those idiots being able to pilot and maintain a tank in the first place.

Sadly the tank was a loan from a private collector so they couldn't blow it up without it looking incredibly stupid with heavy CGI,

So are tanks loaded like that? I honestly don't know. I wasn't sure if it worked like a torpedo from Under Siege which is where I gain all my knowledge about the navy.

Yes generally they manually open the breech and load a new shell in. If the breech was open, you could stick your head in and see daylight down the barrel.

But yea the breech would be closed. The grenade might hurt the barrel and it might not. Those barrels are pretty strong.

Yes, also the ammunition for the main gun is stored internally. I don't know if Daryl's grenade would have the explosive power to detonate the main gun ammo, but I wouldn't want to find out...Either way it is a lot of shrapnel flying around inside a very small compartment.

Thats the main flaw in Daryl's plan, to have any affect with the grenade he had to time it while they were reloading. Or they were stupid and didn't have it loaded AND left the breech open. Daryl is a badass so I figured he timed it during the reload.

How about a real life example, just because?

First grenade cause the round already loaded to fire: the pressure exerted by the explosion on the round pushes on the powder and gets it to ignite. Tough to tell if the barrel is damaged at this point. TNT was used routinely to disable artillery guns during WW2, but more explosive was used. The round pushing on all the shrapnel loose in the barrel can't be good either.

Second grenade falls out of the open breech and inside the hull, pressure and heat from the explosion ignite the stored rounds and the Syrian T-72 operators get a free tan.

If I remember correctly he did drop it in very quickly after they had jsut fired so they could have been reloading it at the time

I'm not sure the baby is dead, it's probably with Beth (farmer's daughter 2). There are now 3 different groups right? The group on the bus (Glen, black chick, ?), Tyreese, and the kids (including crazy girl), Maggie and Glenn (along with Rick and Carl?).
Yeah, I have a feeling the baby is alive also, I don't think they have the guts to kill off an infant. As for the separate groups, it looked like Rick and Carl were going off in a direction by themselves. I bet we see the father and son duo on their own when it picks back up.

Just like when Andrea hid behind a door and abandoned him to 30 zombies in that basement?

The way that guy has been dodging death, I wouldn't be surprised the next season retake of his last scene will show Lily shooting a zombie about to bite him and then put a band-aid on his wound.

I don't see how he was conscious at all after he took a sword through the heart. Maybe he's a terminator.

Wasn't the governor like a history teacher or something before the breakout? How the fuck did he kick the shit out of Rick anyways when Rick already kicked the shit out of Tyrese who is twice his size?

Rick was shot in the leg, governor was shot in the arm, I would think in a fist fight being shot in the arm is more detrimental anyway.

Yea Lilly shot him in the head
He was already dead from the sword through the heart, I took her shooting him in the head to be showing her transformation from loving mother into ruthless badass with nothing left to live for, as well as practical by keeping him from turning into a zombie.

Governor = Dead
The new writers weren't happy that the previous regime left Governor alive. It was a mess that they had to deal with and clean up. So, they gave the story arc 3 episodes and turned lemons into lemonade by making him their mid-season finale. Lilly shot him in the head, just the same way he shot her daughter in the head just moments before. It was both a moment of rage/revenge and a way to show her coming to terms of the reality of this brutal world.

Judith = Alive
Judith is less a character and more a plot device. One they will use to bring the group closer together. If Tyrese or Black Doctor took her, their characters will grow in status in the group. Rick will trust them implicitly and they can be built up as a "group protector" going forward. Beth could have her, which would make sense because Beth's only purpose for being on the show is to essentially be a baby sitter. Michone is likely the one that has her though. Michone was bloodied from the fight, thus the blood in the baby carrier. Also, Michone likely had her own child that was lost as foreshadowed earlier this season. It would be a character growth opportunity for her to take and protect the baby.
