Gov, Herschel, some random dude from the prison, probably that black doctor to keep the quota up. Looked like the entire side that was with the Gov all got knocked off as well, except for the sisters you didn't see either of them die so they may keep them alive. As for the baby it died in the prison attack in the comics they might just do it here as well, she was rarely seen and the entire arc was left really undeveloped because Lori died so early.

I was really worried they were going to leave the governor alive and make him the focal point of the spin off there for a second.
Anyone else impressed with Rick's predator-like cloaking ability behind the truck? He hides there, the tank goes by, no one looks, the governor goes by, doesn't even look for his nemesis, then suddenly there is preda-Rick, leaping to get his ass kicked.
Gotta love the crazy chick with her husband's head from the first episode showing up as a walker at the end walking into the prison.
Anyway, it wasn't terrible, for TWD. The fact they just killed two of their best actors is kind of concerning. I'm sure we'll spend the last half of the season roaming around being all character developmenty before they get to the next set piece, kind of like how they previewed the prison at the end of season 2.

Well if you want to get technical michonne getting away at the start of the fight was ridiculous as well. She should have had a bullet in her immediately.

Only confirmed death is Herschel to be honest. The governor is going to be back either in this show or the new spin off. He survives a sword through his body, and his Maggie is shown shaking as she pulls the trigger but you don't see the bullet in his head. That is because she couldn't do it and shot the ground, helps him get up and they both escape out of there. She is also a nurse and that is how they will explain him surviving. Baby Judith is also alive because we don't see anything except some blood in her car seat. Don't you worry though guys its probably Beth who got shot in route to getting Judith and bled into the car seat. Judith is A-OK! Sadly Herschel is not unless TWD writers say the nurse also patched Herschel up.

Why should she? Others there aren't necessarily into execution style killings and the governor got distracted by the death of his new girl.
Actually the thing that pissed me off the most about the final showdown is that would never happen. The same thing that happened with the towns people would have happened again, the moment they were getting shot at, they would have got the fuck out of dodge. The governor led them there under the pretense that no one had to die, when shit started going down they would have said nope, I was fine where I was. But no, they watch the governor execute a man via beheading and they're all gung ho, except the one chick's sister is suddenly the only one with any common sense.
Not to mention when the governor is like, lets talk, Rick should be like, you wanna talk?, well lets talk about how you kidnapped two of our people, tortured them, nearly killed them and after we rescued them you attacked us with your previous camp and when they didn't fight back you murdered 20 of them in cold blood. After you tell them that and that anyone, besides the governor, is welcome to walk peacefully through the gate things might have turned out a little bit different.
I also like how creepy girl has never fired a gun before and BOOM headshot.

abe/eugene/rosita and slated for the next arc, and tyreese ain't headless... can you imagine tyreese and abe now vying for the number 2 spot? that might actually be cool... but tyreese is just a foot soldier here, he's kinda worthless... also he was shooting a rifle, kinda.

Agree with all of this. The showdown was cool, but there's no way these people would just start shooting. Rick could have very easily exposed the governer, and just chose not to. Then Daryl and Carl have the Gov in their crosshairs, but when the shooting starts the Gov is just standing there with a sword, hacking off Herschel's head, and no one is shooting him?
All in all it was enjoyable. Just try not to think about it, I guess, or this post could get really long.
