Hating Israel for its racism, terrorism, manipulation of US foreign policy, and blatant backstabbing does not make someone an anti-Semite. If that were the case, then a lot of jews (many of them famous) would be anti-Semites as pointed out earlier. Here are my valid reasons for despising Israel:
1) We pay shit tons of money to keep one of the only non-oil producing countries in that fucked up part of the world afloat.
2) They are systematically committing genocide within their own borders, most notably against the Palestinians, but also against others like Ethiopians.
3) They get a free pass when it comes to waging wars of conquest from the world community because we back them.
4) They take a big chunk of the money we pump into their country and turn around and buy large chunks of our political system.
5) They spy on us and give our military tech to our biggest rivals, most notably the USSR back in the day and China in the present.
6) They kick the fucking hornets next any time we try and calm things down in the region, most notably during Iraq 1.0 run up.
7) They routinely engage in acts of espionage, assassination, and sabotage that if any other regional power did the same would result in us immediately bombing the fuck out of them.
8) They have demonstrated a willingness to murder the soldiers of their allies casually when it suits their political agenda (USS Liberty, ect).
9) They are intractable when attempting to negotiate peace deals, to the point of actually being worse than many despotic Islamic states in the region.
10) They smear anyone who is remotely critical of their actions as being an Anti-Semite, like this is some sort of magical get out of bullshit free card.
11) Holocaust guilt is even dumber at this point than black people demanding reparations in this country, especially when you are actively doing Nazi type shit to the Palestinians.
Seriously, fuck those guys. When this country crashes and burns, it is going to be because we got sucked into some bullshit mega conflict that they started. And when the shit goes south, the only thing we can count on this supposed ally to do is to loot our corpse for the remaining loose change before rolling us off the back of the fucking cart. Anyone, including Israeli apologists, that feels any differently is deluding themselves and ignoring every act of blatant assholery that they have pulled since their creation.
And as a side note, fuck England for creating them in the first place, after WW2 because their was a bunch of Holocaust guilt. Hey here is a great idea, lets take all these jewish people (that we secretly don't want in Europe, either) and give them a hunk of land that belonged to some of our WW2 Arabic allies (because, fuck brown people), putting an entire group of people that the entire region hates in the middle of the magical Disneyland HQ of Abrahamic religions. Then lets let the United States sort it all out. Yeah, fuck you and eat a giant dick, Great Brittan.

4) There have been no economic grants to Israel since 2007. Everything they receive must be spent on US military goods, which basically translates into a fat grant for Raytheon and company. Believe it or not (see my previous post with the link outlining Israel's technological innovations) Israel's economy can do just fine on its own without US economic aid. What is more precarious is whether they could maintain a strong enough military in the absence of US aid, as that is the only deterrent keeping a gazillion Arabs from invading World War Z style.

Israel and its detractors have always been a weird issue for me. I see a prosperous and liberal country surrounded by enemies that hate the US. It seems self-evident to me that we should support them. To me there is just simply no question about what side to root for in these conflicts. A world of abunch of Israel's would be a world so much better off than abunch of Syrias, or Irans or Palestines. Yet I see people just react so negatively. The issues they bring up, like me the laughable charge of Israel committing genocide, and I shake my head.
I am an atheist and a scientist and I try to approach things logically. I have no religious reason to like Israel and my stepfather and father both hate jews and israel. So I have been exposed to that side of it but it has never made sense me. I can just never wrap my head around why so many people in the US root against them. I know some of it is definitely latent anti-semitism. Yet this is surely not all. I am sure Hodj is not, yet he has often posted many negative things against Israel. Is it because people see rock-throwing palestinians and see them as the underdog, ignoring how Israel is completely surrounded by religious fanatic enemies? I just don't know and simply can't wrap my head around the dislike of Israel.
