Your kids are already exposed to it. Instead of scrambling to cover their eyes and ears, teach them that sometimes people make mistakes. Sometimes good people do bad things and bad people do good things. The only things that are actually relevant are the decisions we make and are accountable for.

My kid is six. I’m covering his eyes and ears on a lot of things still. I’m not about to explain what adults being queer means. There’s a time to expose kids to some things and he’s not there yet. I’m not letting him watch love scenes with straight people either, or hearing F bombs, etc.

Because I don’t want it normalized in him at this age. A few years from now, sure. He doesn’t have any concept of relationships at all yet except there are mommy’s and daddy’s. I don’t care what year it is or how normalized you want being gay to be. I didn’t used to care at all, two adults can do whatever they want with each other. But putting this shit in kids show is too grooming-like for me.
We’ve gone from “who cares what people do in their bedroom” (which is fine by me) to tranny story hour and child stripper drag queens and hormone blockers within a few short years. He has the rest of his life to learn about that shit, for now he can remain an innocent child. I’m not making it a problem by not letting him see it, because he doesn’t know it even exists. No problem to be seen.

I think all of the MCU movies are PG-13 so technically they are not kid movies.

Yeah. My kid hasn’t seen the majority of mcu. He’s seen one Spider-Man movie and a few scenes from infinity war. It’s too mature for a six year old. We have a neighbor who has watched most mcu with their seven year old, and they’re surprised that he knows cuss words and says things like “I’m gonna chop your head off.”
