The constant with these episodes is Vaughn's dialogue is fucking warped. It's not just Vaughn, but mostly. That half anaconda bullshit the other week was from the same font of tard. I don't want to hate on Vaughn for it, but I think he should have put his foot down and told them it's fucked. 4chan fightin the good fight.

Kitsch is solid, but his character is just so damn peripheral.

Yeah im hoping we find out what happened this week. A lot of people think he has split personality which I dont think its true

The night ray was shot was the night he left his girlfriend, the night the car was ditched and blown up was the night he blacked out and lost his bike. The watch that blamed the pimp werent the same watches like woodrugh was looking at and said they were. I dont think its true but would be interesting I guess

so the theory is that vince vaughn is also a closet gay(cant get it up for his gf) and hooked up once with gaycop and ended badly (which is why they were both eyefucking each other at the club),so when gaycop blacks out he executes some kind of revenge on him? thats so stupid its probably what happened.

or better yet, maybe they arent gays at all, but are being manipulated to think they are by some kind of hypnotism from the cult leader dad who has taken an interest in vinci and wants some money. he didnt kill velcoro because of his aura.

Its an off the wall theory but casper had sex tapes of woodrugh or some shit. I think birdman is obviously Pitlor, everyone most are accounted for the day casper was killed besides pitlor, camera man, or the mayors son. Blake and the chief were occupied.

They never found out who making all the calls from the mayors correct?

Here the theory on Woodrugh. Only reason I would believe it is from the interview with Nic

"Officer Paul Woodrugh is the killer. Paul Woodrugh knew Caspere thru the sex parties. He shot Ray with rubber bullets (the kinds cop use) because he was there to retrieve the tape of him likely performing sex acts, as Caspere liked to watch others and secretly recorded them in the act. Caspere's eyes were burned out because he liked to watch, his genitals blown apart for the obvious symbolism. Possible motive is Paul was not aware he was being recorded by Caspere, and was enraged when he found out. Paul Woodrugh is the one who knew where the body would be found. The missing money is a red herring. Nic Pizzolatto described the new season as a detective story in the manner of Oedipus Rex, in which "the detective is searching and searching and searching, and the culprit is him."
Edit: Paul likely has some form of PTSD from his time in Afghanistan, possible Fugue state during the killing.
Edit: The actress Paul met links him to the movie studio where the car was stolen and used to move Caspere.
Edit: The incident with the actress could also have been during a fugue state, which is why he believes he is innocent of the charge, even though he is not.
Edit: possible motive - Caspere is Paul's biological father, hence the Oedipus Rex connection. Caspere was filming his own son perform sex acts, and Paul went insane when he found out. In the show we have met all of the primary character's fathers, except for Paul, this is intentional."
On top of all of that...in the introduction to each episode, when Taylor Kitsch gets introduced the lyric is "I live among you", it then cuts to his face which is covered in the California landscape and blood, followed by the line "well disguised"

I really think this TD season seems off mostly because of the writing : some characters have mediocre / bad dialogues and scenes. I think they should have sticked with the cop duo, probably Ani / Ray since their dynamic works fine. Maybe TD season 2 characters didn't get involved during production as much as both McConaughey / Harrelson were.

Only Ani and frank have issues with dialogue. Klitch has been really good with his material IMO and Farrell is fantastic. Moorse is really good also but only been in two episodes.

I think Mcadams is doing the worst acting out of them all and Vince has awkward dialogue

I think the problem with VV's character's dialogue is he's supposed to be using SAT words to show you how far he's come. I think they're playing at that idea that he was a starting goon and worked his way up to fatcat boss, but trying to show he hasn't lost his edge and gone soft. That's part of the reason for the weird boxer thing. Trying to demonstrate just because he's in a suit and drinks bourbon doesn't mean he can't beat the shit out of some metal-mouthed samoan goon if he needs to. They're trying to make him more of an impressive or threatening character as the show goes on, but the dialogue just often falls short.

Franks dialogue is pretty funny especially since Ray or Blake seem to mess or one up him with words like apoplectic or predilection and Frank gets annoyed. I dont know if its because they know thats how he talks and doing it intentionally
