Dire maul has a lot of areas with wandering mobs where a stupid tank can definitely get a group fucked if he doesn't know the place. And if a wandering mob comes in and agros someone else, I would blame the tank for that. Now that I've made up my mind on the matter, time to go watch what happened.

Edit: Yep, tank was a tard. That was the original problem. Could the mage have played better? Probably, but hindsight is 20/20 in a situation like this.

I think most of the drama is coming from Pirate not admitting he could have done more in that situation, saying he was OOM while having the ability to regen lots of mana and then saying his crafting skill was too important to risk dying. People just see that as being egotistical.

Sounds like HC wow is even better than monopoly or uno at ruining friendships.

The fact that you could only join certain guilds if you had enough followers on your Twitch page should say enough about the type of community HC WoW has.

I'm not a pro at WoW Mages, but from what I saw and the commentary about it, is that he had a mana gem and robe of the archmage(?) ready to go, so he had mana if he had wanted to stay around. There is a short vid by Preach basically laughing at him for saying he was oom.

He did even throw down a blizzard for them too as he ran. Could he have done more with a frost nova? Sure, but is he obligated to? Nope. I mostly just think the insane over reaction from other streamers and viewers/commenters is the real retarded part. People care way too much about this, and I don't like when everyone piles onto someone with the mob mentality.

Dude needs to just wipe them on their first MC run. I would.

I"m so sick of the that stupid drama. It's just fucking dumb HC WoW. Who gives a flying fuck if they died. It's part of the experience. Reroll, case closed. The toons aren't coming back.

Edit: There are better things to watch which is Forsen be very terrible at League.

Blizzard servers, your crappy ISP, or even random internet bullshit claims your HC character? Sure, complain a bit however, those are only some of the reasons people never play HC. Literal laundry lists of how your time and effort can poof for the stupidest reasons ever.

But if you can't own your own ineptitude or your own words don't try to drag others down with you.

my steam account hit 21 in September. i feel old.

1. tank fucked up by taking a problematic route (middle is not the safest for HC, if shit hits the fan and you have to retreat, there are too many patrols)
2. tank fucked up by doing a pull ~20sec before the boss would show up (boss was pathing back, and he even marked the boss) and chain pull another group (that the drood aggroed).
3. drood fucked up by ass-pulling another group (would aggro anyway, see 2)
4. they all fucked up by not having a clear strategy what to do, no leadership (hello tank)
5. mage pussied out the momet he heard "run", he could've moved closer and frost nova, or drop a rank1 blizzard to give them plenty of time to safely retreat and only deal with the boss (who does knockback which is a plus in this scenario)
6. mage finally stops running but fucks up anyway by being at ~25% mana and dropping a max rank blizzard for 1 tick that hit only 1 dog, and fucking up his mana pool, and then fleeing almost all the way to the entrance without even *looking* back
7. drood fucked up again by ass-pulling another group, that actually was a patrol and would've aggro anyway 5sec later. but still, he should've noticed and alerted the group (plus, 2 ass-pulls within a minute is terribad)
8. mage keeps being a complete pussy (maybe go back to retail SC?) despite being told by drood to come get innervate, also, hello mana gems/pots
9. mage finally regains some mana, only to put ice barrier on himself, and nukes his mana pool again, and then proceeds to enjoy the show from the entrance, without any aggro, while holding his own dick. instead, he could've dropped rank 1 blizzard and saved at least the drood
10. rogue didn't fuck anything up nor did he run away like a bitch, but could've done a little more instead of keeping the door wide open for sprint/vanish (those dogs see through stealth and can bleed you, so while understandable, it's still: what a "surprise" )

So IMO, before shit hit the fan by doing that pull, lots of blame on tank/leader. Afterward, drood fuck ups made them sink. And while the mage didn't make any mistakes that would sink them lower, he could've done so fucking much more^10 and no one would've died.
That mage = liability in HC, do not group (and that's where the main problem and complaints are as far as I understand).
