I dunno, it wouldn't surprise me if improvements happen in some cases. My anxiety issues diminished greatly after mine. I'm sure some of it was just the shock of the cancer experience altogether, but even the way my brain processes situations is fundamentally different. While anxiety and intelligence aren't really the same thing, both rely on the way the brain processes information.
My running theory is that there's a slight disconnect inbetween my "line of thought" and the signals that my brain sends to my body. How you process fear is partially due to what you think about the situation. So while I get words mixed up because of it, I also have a diminished impact of processing stuff.
If that can have that effect, why not a slightly different issue have a whole slew of its own effects? Maybe an increase in connection between body and mind, resulting in better cognitive processes. I'm not talking rain-man level shit here, but just some moderate improvements.
Or maybe it has nothing to do with chemo and I'm just experiencing early dementia or some shit. Fun!

Yeah well you've also stated in this very thread (context: this posts was pulled from GG/SJW thread so as to not derail it) that, even after shown evidence to the contrary, that you don't think post-op trannies can have orgasms. There's a reason SRS surgeons remake the frenulum (the most sensitive and orgasm inducing tissue on the cock) into the clit. My endo (who is, you know, a medical professional who has worked with several hundred trannies over the years) knows GD is real. Versus you, just some guy with a distorted bias that believes what he believes with... what evidence exactly? Ahhh, correct... your own opinion on the matter.
In fact, let's extend this to the notion that you're absolutely right and all of us, ALL transgenderism is just weird perversion in a dress and GD is a completely made up. You then also have to reason:
A) That perversion itself is a mental illness, because if that's not the case, then we trannies are NOT mentally ill and are just, I guess glorified actors with a fetish.
B) That children, literally of the age of 4, are weird perverts and/or capable of SEXUAL PERVERSION because that is the age that both myself and many trannies I have interacted with both online and in person began to feel a pull toward the other sex and the idea of belonging to said sex.
C) That medical professionals across many different practices (psychs, endos, PCPs), for whatever reason, are all hooked in a large-scale conspiracy to diagnose a bunch of weird perverts this faux mental illness... for... what purpose exactly? To just make money? To seem "woke" as medical professionals (because that's so common in healthcare)?
D) That I and others like me are still weird perverts and transgenderism all revolves around sex because even after transition (since GD is a supposed myth) which couldn't possibly cure perversion, we still yearn for dressing up and fucking other men / women. Then explain why so many trannies want to literally cut off their main source of pleasure? Or is that an even MORE elaborate and different mental illness that is still not GD?
E) That the evidence of brain scans showing similarities between trans adolescents more closely resembling their desired gender are yet another hoax and conspiracy... for... what reason exactly? Ahh yes, to seem "woke" (and of course, dat $$$).
...or maybe, as usual, occam's razor holds true here and a very tiny portion of people are born with a mental illness called GD.
I honestly think you've seen too many of those so-called "transgender" people who are 55 year old man-babies in diapers who identify as 11 year old girls, crossdressers on Tumblr, non-binary pronoun-flinging douches with blue hair, or macho-ma'am tranny savages on the net that have skewed your perception of who people like me are. I just didn't think anyone on this forum would be that mentally deficient to even think that I'm one of the poseur trannies in light of, you know, crossdressers, trans manbabies, shemales in porn, non-binaries out there etc etc.
Seeing how my sister-from-another-mister Blaire White doesn't feel GD anymore either after transitioning and is -ahem- "cured" and is also not getting "the surgery" done, she is just a weird pervert too I guess. If I stopped taking my meds, GD would come back due to many, many factors and I would then be suffering from the discomfort of a mental illness again, yes. In that aspect I'm a mentally ill person and it quite honestly sucks to admit it... I mean, who would want to be mentally ill (not me... I didn't sign up for it), but my entire existence and presence on this forum has been an open book and truthful about anything and everything from the get go (some have said I've been dangerously open and honest here). So Mario was just saying I was essentially a fraud that didn't have GD and was just a perv, which is his right to believe that and that's cool beans but I (like I do too much) am picking holes in faulty logic. Last thing I was curious about was who he then feels are legitimate trannies who suffer from GD if his assessment is that both myself and Blaire White (who share a ridiculous amount of things in common as far as how we think even though we're complete strangers) were frauds heh.

Couldn’t it simply be argued that GD is just a type of perversion or fetish if you will? So let’s take for an example people who shove gauge steel beams down their urethra. This is considered a perversion/fetish although I would be willing to make the arguement that anyone willing to partake in this behavior as having some sort of phycological issues.
As has been brought up before we don’t accept people with body dismorpha just chopping off their arms and shit. And really from your posts it’s almost painfully obvious your line of thinking comes from a male brain as you seem to care for logic over crazy bitch emotions.
At the end of the day though people do all sorts of weird ass shit, even the straight normal people have fucked up thoughts that go through their head so what people want to do at home is their own business. Where Trannies get into trouble is trying to go out and seek acceptance for what they are, you might find it from close family and friends, but strangers have no reason to take part in the delusion and honestly should mock it as they would any other undesirable trait that isn’t typically accepted in that society.
It’s a complex issue and I feel empathy towards those who are honestly ill, or don’t understand why they do what they do, but that empathy is overshadowed by my dislike of the attention whores and degenerates who expect us to play their game.

And this right here is a sticking point. It's the same issue with gay folks - they didn't ask to be born that way, but they are what they are, just as you are what you are. There are certain (idiotic) people who simply believe that everyone who has a sexuality that is different from theirs is just making a stupid choice. You're gay? Bad choice. You're GD? Bad choice. It's an easy way to simply damn the people you're uncomfortable with. It's not smart, and it certainly isn't kind. But when pushed on the issue, many homophobes will fall back to this.
You just can't fight this. There is no winning with people who think this way.
