I remember being told that I could not be Atheist and be Good at the same time.

I refuse/d to kneel to Groupism. Back in the day when I was all goth and dark and emo I demanded that everyone around me judge me as an individual, as thus, I still now hold myself to that same standard. (I used to have long hair and wear all black and listen to NIN.... but also read Dickens and Plato on the side)

Trans (and this goes for Vanessa as well) is merely one single indicator of his/her personality. It is not the indicator. And if either Vanessa or Hodge agree that sexual identity is the most prominent indicator of Personality, then I think they would both be wrong.

Any refutation or even an attempt to address the fact that your position demands we ignore Mandels work on the genome or any subsequent increases in knowledge in the field of biology in order to better understand evolution.

What he's talking about is that Origin is a very good start and it was revolutionary. But the idea has been expanded. Much of origin (I think) is no longer relevant with the discovery of DNA. Origin LED to that discovery though, so it's not like Darwin was some sort of hackfraud. He supposed a mechanism but had no idea what that mechanism actually was. But he saw the pattern. At this point origin is history. History that everyone should read, I believe, but it's not current science.

I'm fairly sure that's what hodj is saying, he's just doing it in his hodjy way.

He's a harris man. That's fine. Harris amuses me and sometimes he says things worth considering. He's about a dickhair away from creating his own personal religion since he started meditation. I don't think Harris will ever step over that line and I like Harris well enough, but it's funny. If that dude starts smoking weed he'll turn into a Guru.

Origin didn't lead to the discovery of genetics. Mendels work was entirely seperated from Darwin's.

It was pure luck Mendels work was rediscovered and seen to illuminate the mechanism of darwins work
