Regardless of whether there is scripture directly referring to vanity or not: vanity is an affront to god. "You are fearfully and wonderfully made" and without God we are dust and clay. That we can conceptualize "vain" at all is His doing. The one true God owns our phisical and spiritual reality. It's good for us Christians to think about such things.

Nobody asked me to chime in, but I've had an interesting series of events lately leading to a crystallization of my own princilpes, and this helps me see if I can articulate them.

There are 3 camps with regards to Vanessa :

1. Vanessa - who must aggressively defend any accusation, attack, or slander. Also who volunteers a glimpse into a chaotic life (or life energy at least). The combination invites trolling and ridicule.

2. The exterminator: whether for the lulz, or because one truly hates Vanessa because he represents something one can't find the grace to abide, this batch fights to the death, stabbing as deeply as possible ("i hate you", "41%'er," etc.) regardless of motive, this is just as twisted, morally, as what you think you're attacking.

3. The Audience: those who sit and watch for entertainment. Whether the sit-com type or the train-wreck type. Yet none of these promotes truth or kindness (or anything really).

This is an example of something much larger and also of something more abstract. But not in this thread.

Regardless, that was more for me than you guys. For me, being a spectator to this feels gross. I'm also not asking you to care what I think. Carry on :)

You seem to think we hate Vanessa because he is a tranny, that is wrong. When I first found this post I was actually very civil to him...I wanted to know what made him do what he did, I was curious. But as I read more and more of his post his arrogance and ego began to shine and it was just not flattering. Then he starts in about how saved and religious he is yet he flaunts the tenants of his professed religion daily, hourly. He doesn't just "defend" oh no, he attacks anyone and everyone who would dare question his superiority.
Vanessa is no fucking victim here. Sure, there are those who hate him for what he is but hell the majority of people here hate him for who he is and his fake tits have nothing to do with it. Those are just an easy target
Now before Vanessa comes in and "owns" me for my rambling almost incoherent text, it's like 4 am and I'm high as fuck so who cares.

I have said this before and will say it again: I don't shoop the things that most people would think I shoop. My pics are honest about what I'm presenting: myself. The lie is how I try to use photoshop to enhance what's already there.

Here's something else I've touched on before which is 100% true: When people look at my stuff and go through such cringy and painstaking lengths to make fun of my pics for being photoshopped:

I have a strong chin. Yeah. You should've seen it before the work. Not Jerle levels, but I was... I don't want to say alpha because I'm honest. Not personality wise, but looks wise, I was a very chiseled, handsome guy who had 0 problems with women, I can say that.

Someday, I just may make a transition video. Someday. I just don't care that much about "him"... the past.

My apologies for the wall of text. Ill explain myself, then let it go.

Not sure who you were referring to on the owning. I didn't own anyone. My point was that everyone is contributing to a negative outcome in different ways.

This is true not only for this thread, but for most of humanity. Once one actually understands the truth of almighty God, not just platitudes or using scriptures as a book from which to draw snippets that support or refute one point or another, it is truly life changing.

All Christians are in a process, on a spectrum if you like that language, of moving toward understanding and becoming more like God (no, we'll never be divine, don't get me wrong). Some make more progress than others, some are more devoted than others, some are false, others are true. Only God knows.

I'm not trying to proselytize anyone, but I am trying to point out that Vanessa's lack of humility in some areas, vanity, prior.. lack of bodily modesty, etc is no worse than many of you not letting things go just to justify your righteous indignation, troll jollies, or need to diminish others to make yourself feel better.

Also, those who listen and watch something wrong and say or do nothing are also no better. This is what made me post about something bigger, philosophically than "Sevens vs Vanessa... Fight!"

My post was not condemning anyone. Yet look at the replies. It seems as if I am not passing judgment on one side or another, You get upset because I'm not taking a side (or you don't understand what I mean) It's not my place to judge Vanessa or any of you.

Why? Because all of us are made in the image of God. Even sinners, athiests, trannies, ugly people, fat people stupid people, thots, etc. Yet all have the capacity to sense and grow in things that are spirit, not just matter. Whether we choose to follow that which leads to God is part of free will.

Do we want society to not suck? Maybe look at a lot of this thread and ask ourselves if we feel the as we do posting here, do we carry that into the world also?

If we don't care whether society sucks and whether other humans suffer without love, because how is that our problem, right? Does that make us a better person than a vain tranny? Or an athiest who lives in darkness? Or... an old sinner like me?
