(My first GF was one of these, in and out at Ft Logan a few months at a time, and last I knew was starting to get penned up 6+ months in a go before trying to let her out only to fall off again after several months.

These Final Fantasy people are worse than the people with object fetishism or whatever the clinical diagnosis is. I remember H3 did a thing about them didn't he? Yeah there was some guy that fucked an old roller coaster or something. Lol and then those 2 guys that fuck exhaust pipes of cars. Two of these guys met up at a hotel as part of a documentary and one of them jizzed on the other guy's car while he was sleeping LOL.

But anyways these Final Fantasy people think they inhabit the spirit of video game characters. Like they genuinely believe that they are video game characters. So like one of them thinks they are Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. I forget how the explain how it is possible, but they have some weird convoluted way of believing it. And this isn't just some silly thing they don't take too seriously or don't "really" believe. They are 100% dead serious.

Yes, i would be annoyed if suddenly there was an overblown obsession with trees, and they had to be prominently featured and celebrated in every possible way.

It's the exhaustion I'm curious about. Why is it even a problem to you? Did you get passed over for someone wearing a skirt with a penis larger than yours? As for media, not everything has to be proportional. Why is it a problem something is featured in the media? I don't see that as a problem at all. The irritating part about your post us that you're mocking a selection bias as something that I'm not aware of, when it's the exact reason I'm posting in the first place.
Yes, I'm annoyed with everything that receives extended and disproportional representation, primarily when we're talking about news coverage and not just entertainment. The reason that the transgender issue is more than a mild irritation to me, like cup-stacking or the ice-bucket challenge were with their 5 minutes of fame, is because there is an aspect of morality to it that's used as a weapon against those that don't want to go along with it.

I can opt-out of the other annoying trends and mostly exclude them from my life, but politics has pulled the transgender issue into the platform and added an aspect of morality to it that we're either expected to go along with, or risk being pariahs.

And by the way, the sticking point for me is whether or not I'm allowed to hold the belief that a trans woman is not the exact same thing as a woman.

I have zero issue with people living as they want, and i don't mind referring to them as he/she to suit how they live their life....but I'm not willing to change my vocabulary (xhe, etc), and I'm not ok with being labelled a nazi because my own personal beliefs on biology don't support their delusions.

I get that you're fully aware of it. Here it's considered to be of very poor class to flaunt it like so. Precisely because it's not rational, childish like, lazy and ignorant as far as history goes. It seems ignorant, especially since for thousand of years it's been pendular. It's going to swing back and forth. In a larger perspective these few years are nothing in the vastness that is the celebration of your norms, values and morals. The arguments you're using and the points you're trying to make have been - and are still in some places - being used in reverse for the group in question, transsexuals - insert gays, blacks, women etc. The US is not representative of the world in its entirety. So what if you live in an era, geography, politically and by popular opinion that gives place to the swinging of the pendulum in their direction? To me it seems futile to argue against it. It wont be the norm in it's entirety - your view wont be obliterated either. Who cares if it's here now for a decade. So was disco. Your kids wont even know this was an issue. Because it's not. There are a million ways to differentiate yourself from others. Pointing fingers at others seems silly and counterproductive. You'll get over it. Find somthing else to occupy your time with

No, I'm not British. I'm danish. Our nation is a couple of thousand years older than yours - so sure, lots of shit, colonial, racism, immigration, war, whatnot has happened here too. We're struggling with immigrants as it is - pendular governments, and open-closed borders, massive influx of immigrants bc of German Angela Merkel.
