I claimed the rewards in Twitch but they didn't pop up in the game, but last time none of my mail popped up until I killed Vor.

Controls are much much better on PC, I was actually able to pull some crazy shit off. Then I stayed up til 1am playing, like a moron.

Yeah, I've tried playing it with my gamepad on PC and I can't do half the shit I can pull off easily using m/k. No bias there either, I'm lazy and would much rather use a gamepad (and my Steam Link) if I could, but it really only works for me if I'm grinding out Hydron with Trinity as an EV/Bless bot with unranked weapons.

Yeah, since the added the relays with Simularis. Still, good to YT the setup that'll make it super easy. Back in the early days that shit was rough when you needed rifle kills or something, and still had Carrier with Sweeper equipped... insta fail.

Any beginner tips on what weapons I should buy first or should I just go hog wild with what I like the idea of?

You want to be in a cycle of buying/building weapons and replacing them as soon as they get maxed. Your mastery rank only goes up by leveling up new frames, weapons, companions, and sentinel guns. Buy all the MK1 weapons from the market, then build the non-MK1 versions of them because they're all relatively cheap. Definitely build one of the Latron BPs you get from watching Twitch streams too. And a Boltor, that's a solid low MR weapon. As far as long-term potential goes, nothing you can make will compete with Soma Prime or Scindo Prime for a long time. Only exception I can think of is the Hek shotgun, there's situations where I'd use that over a rifle (provided you have the syndicate mod for it).

For secondaries, you'll want to look at Lex, Aklex, Akstiletto, Aksomati, Sonicor, and eventually Vaykor Marelok and Akstiletto Prime.

What streams do I need to watch in order to get these thingymadoodads.

Any of the ones marked WF Partner or something like "leveling new characters for achievements" in the description. Basically the top 10 or so WF streams on Twitch will all be partners. You get one drop an hour just for watching, plus another drop every time they get an achievement in game (these are the ones that got me ~1000 drops over the weekend to ensure I came out with at least one of everything rare). Edit: And 250 more while I was out for 3 hours this afternoon, lol.

Oh, and bookmark this page on the wiki: Weapons Required as Crafting Ingredients and check it before you sell anything you craft. It's really irritating to sell something only to find out later on that you need to rebuild it to craft something else. That said, you may not be able to avoid it at times because you'll find that weapon slots fill up quickly. General guideline is to spend your first 50p on a frame slot (20p) and 4 weapon slots (12p for 2).

If you need a taxi for anything, you can look for me online (Svieri). By that I mean I can take you to a planet you don't have access to yourself to do a mission or alert for crafting materials or whatever the alert reward is.

Yeah there's really no downside to the Akstiletto Prime other than the fact that you *will* run out of ammo if you don't use Carrier with Ammo Case. I really need to get R10 Primed Pistol Gambit and Target Cracker mods for mine too.

Vaykor Hek is really good, but mine started feeling kind of weak. I haven't put enough into it I guess. Needs 3 forma (annoying since one of them is just to change the worthless D into a V) so I can mod it with both primed mods and both of the good acolyte mods, along with the other mandatory ones (Hell's Chamber, Blaze, Chilling Reload, Accelerated Blast). Still need to buy Primed Point Blank and Shrapnel Shot too, but I think it'll be top tier again once I do.

4 forma deep into Akstilletto and it's just a beast. It wrecks the fuck out of most things. I've got mine set for Crit/Corrosive. Sure, it's not really a crit weapon, but the number of rounds it puts down range juust shreds things quickly -- except Nox, fuck Nox. I don't have ammo issues with it either, mainly because I'm using short bursts most of the time.

Mine's at 33%/3.2x crit and 95% status. With primed crit mods it'll jump up to 43%/4.2x which is plenty to be a crit weapon with the fire rate it has. I'm thinking once I get an Augur Pact I'll go with that, Jolt, and Pistol Pestilence for the 3 slots that are actually debatable.

There is a bunch of good weapons, and if you ask ten people you will get ten mostly different answers. I'm not a complete minmaxer in WF, and I prefer to use weapon that feel right to me and are able to get the job done. For example, atterax is a very good crit/combo melee weapon that will shread lvl100+ mobs in a hit or two when you get it rolling but I just don't like it so I simply use something else.
This is more or less what I am or have been using, and is generally good enough to get your though all sorties solo (interception and hijack I do in a party).
- primary: karak (decent low level, build for mag size and reload), ignis wraith (good low/middle level aoe weapon, e.g. when you are doing syndicate missions and have to find medallions, you should be able to get a free wraith bp), soma prime (currently vaulted so prolly out of reach), tonkor (if you have a time machine, get this monster; it still destroys everything but you have to be very careful), tigris prime (any tigris is ok)
- secondary: lex (prime, think magnum), akstilleto (prime, bullet eater so you will prolly need a carrier sentinel), furis (with WoL mod for self heals), tysis (quick armor stripping)
- melee: orthos and orthos prime (good aoe and range, and can carry you for a long time; yup, I still prefer this to any of 100+ melee weapons I have)
Also, generally useful frames: nova (speed/slow), trinity (ev/heals), frost, ember (sleepwalk through lvl1-40 stuff if you can mod her properly for WoF), loki or ivara for stealth. And if nothing else, you will most likely put them to good use to unlock rivens.

What discord you guys in? I asked in the clan but got no response. I figured it was the FoH one but I didn't even see a sub-category for Warframe.

I got a new frame from Twitch, but I thought it was two. Was it maybe the weapon?

I absolutely love my Sonicor, the damage doesn't scale all that well, but it's a ragdoll machine and needs only MR2 IIRC
