I love these achievements.
But sometimes I look and 20% of people who bought it finish the first act in some games, really makes me wonder about the level of low energy clown that such a large % of gamers are.

There are also a lot of people like me that over purchase during steam sales and have a backlog as long as Jenna Jameson's body count. Not that I don't want to play the games, it just comes down to time. God if and when I ever retire I sure as shit will have plenty to keep me busy.

Yeah the combination of "Oh I'll save 40% if I buy today" along with, "Not sure if I want to play Space Marine but I do want them to make more games like this" makes up a huge % of those people who don't even install the game.
Personally I almost never purchase until I am imminently going to play.

Well, they canceled the planned Open Beta to polish the game more, so that sucks, but its also good.

I have avoided games a loved because the demo was shit and had regrets buying games because the demo was good. Demos are just a vertical slice of what could be and not to be trusted. Looking at you Bioshock 3 and Hellgate London.

Thats just it Demo was absolute dogshit but game was pretty fun it was the end game, server issues and lack of meaningful updates that sucked and killed it after 2 years.

I dunno why people are still optimistic about this. Saber Interactive is not an especially impressive dev studio, most of their in-house work is just platform ports. Afaik WWZ is their biggest recent in-house title and that game was incredibly forgettable. Cancelling the open beta this close to release, which was a promised pre-order perk that I read has been replaced with a fucking bolter skin, just reeks of major development issues.

Not sure how facetious you might be vs just not super familiar. I thought we'd seen some signs of sisters of battle in it, but I may be recalling wrong. If your referencing the fears of woke like regular marines and a female. So far nothing in trailers has hinted at it despite the wokesters on staff, so if it's there they know to hide it until release.
So I'm not holding my breath but I'm really hoping it's a gorgeous single player play through like the first. I dont really have any hope the multiplayer will be worth a shit.
