This aint no lie. We had incidental creep happening with gas stations yesterday. As counties ran dry people started going to adjacent counties and it dominoed. Couldn't find gas yesterday so got up pre-dawn and found a place with gasbuddy that had gotten fuel overnight.

Also, Wawa and other big stations are reserving some regular for 1st responders. They had gas, but its roped off and only cops/firefighters etc can purchase it.
Had to put 87 in my Mercedes Monday morning and that shit was running out.

Not since end of last year. Got close to battery warranty expiration on my MX and I got a great deal on a Tundra. Never planned to hold it beyond the battery shelf life. Cybertrucks were looking to not be available til 2025 for most folks so I grabbed the Toyota.

And this is why media panic is bad. People up north like you probably tapped out all the gas and now will barely get hit. And those poor fuckers to the south are now screwed and likely stranded.

Sucks about Siesta Key. That beach is fucking gorgeous. Although I guess the beach will likely be fine, just all the shit behind the beach not so much.

FEMA released a daily briefing on Wednesday revealing the agency had only 8%, or 1,115, FEMA staff members currently available
That’s disinformation Jack. The weather channel had both Biden and Harris on dispelling all of the disinformation. It’s on TV, has to be true.

Storm is really wobbly. No one knows where it's going to hit or bend.

They all at the border?

Might be a good thing, so FEMA can't interfere with local recovery efforts.

Can anyone get a nice article made in an llm about how the lack of ethnic storm names is a micro aggression and then start spreading it on TikTok or something. Could turn it into a thing

Neat little website showing all kinds of things, like wind, waves, temp, space, etc. Can't remember where I got it, maybe even from here. Looks like 2 more brewing off the East coast as well.

Here is an alternate that gives you a mouse over box showing the wind speed in mph at 10m from sea level. It also has the option to go higher in altitude. I don't know what hight they take offical wind speed measurements to classify hurricanes:

You can change all the string in the bottom left of the one i linked. All kinds of options. It also shows all speeds and such where you click. I'll check yours out.

Orange County is getting tornado warnings. Haven't seen anything yet on the east side though.
