We don't lose power often but when we do it's relatively slow to recover. Finally bought a generator this last year because we had an outage I knew would be a week. Thing was, doing the math and basically two nights in a hotel and all our food going bad was the same price as a new generator. *Shrug*

Still in an apartment unfortunately. Prices for homes have doubled here in the last couple years. Was waiting for them to come down.

Eye was 50 miles south of the house, family slept through everything as it rolled through overnight. As usual the coast got fucked and there was a lot of tornadoes that did damage in isolated areas. It moved pretty fast, so rainfall wasn't as bad as expected, in East Orlando at least. Now it is pretty much over.

Poles. Some nearby alarms went all night/morning. Was like torture.

Massive tree down blocking the exit from our complex. Also cannot recline my couch because it's electric. Major annoyance from a minor thing.
