I freely admit I may be underestimating the calories in liquor, but I'm confident its way fucking less than whats in beer.

It really depends on what liquor and beer you're comparing. There are plenty of beers that have 100 - 150 calories for a bottle, which is barely more than a shot of most liquors. I believe 12 ounces of Guinness, which is a pretty filling and delicious beer, only has like 130ish calories.

If you drink any sort of light beer then your calories will range from the high 80s/low 90s for stuff like Miller Lite to the low 100s. Again, that isn't much different from a shot of liquor.

*Edit* I will concede that most people will drink fewer liquor drinks due to the higher alcohol content, so in the long-term you'll save calories like you originally mentioned. But taken on a one-to-one basis the calories aren't all that different.

Why are you suffering through plain fat free yogurt? It's an ingredient, not something to be eaten by itself. I buy the fat free plain greek yogurt, only because that's what BJs offers, and these are some of the things I mix with it:

Craisins. Be sure to combine them when you pack your lunch that morning. This way the sugar on the berries has time to mix with yogurt. Also, the berries will reconstitute a bit. Downside is that it ends up looking like something you scraped off a tampon.

Granola. Make your own, or just buy a mix. My wife made one that's chocolate, shaved coconut, and slivered almonds. Pretty much an almond joy. You will probably need to add a sweetener to the yogurt. You can even use something fake like Splenda because the downside of a fake sugar doesn't really come through when you only need a bit to take the edge off the sourness.

Speculoos! This is my favorite so far. Since the yogurt needs some fat and speculoos is pretty much fat, the two go together very well.
Recently I started making my own greek yoghurt. Its dead simple, takes zero effort, and is cheaper than store bought. If greek yoghurt is a regular part of your diet, I suggest looking into making your own. You also have more control over the taste and texture.

Only if you're drinking straight up. Pretty sure a Martini has something like 700 calories thanks to simple syrup. Not that I drink martinis, fucking faggots.

Really? Martinis are one of the manliest, most sophisticated drinks around. Also, the only thing in a real martini is Gin and Vermouth, you damn cretin. And they certainly are not even close to 700 calories. Go eat some more yogurt.

True story bros: I went back to my local gym for the first time in over a month last night. I rotate shifts at work and the night shift makes it really difficult to get there plus they have a gym at work we can use, so I have been using that. I was doing similar stuff at the local gym, but they do have different equipment so I was translating basically. Holy balls was I done after that shit last night, I felt like I was dragging my ass through the entire experience. Not sure if that was because it was been about 5 days since I went to the gym or because of the change up in equipment and stuff.

5 days? Doubtful that's the problem. Probably the shift change and 3 young daughters means you're tired as shit. I know after getting a poor(er) night's sleep, I feel weaker at the gym the next day.

Does anyone know of any good apps that do the following 3 things:
1) Allows recipes for meals to be input
2) plans shopping list based on meals input
3) Calculates nutritional info by day/week

It seems most apps I've tried/looked into will do at most 2 of the three things, but not all three. I want to be able to plan my daily and weekly meals, have the nutritional info on it, and make a shopping list for it. Myfitnesspal will do 1&3, but as far as I know won't make a shopping list. Other apps do recipes and shopping lists, but not nutritional info.

Anyone have opinions/experience with adding a vege greens powder to their diet, even if already getting 5-7 serves in your meal? Considering adding a scoop a day to morning smoothie just to ensure I am getting decent micros but not sure if it's worth it given I already take a multi, fish oil, magnesium, zinc and vit d

What are you thinking will be in this powder that isn't in the multi?
That's what I'm not sure about, hence asking
