I'm going to go for this seriously now, taking pictures and measuring body fat. It's been linked here before but I saw a book forthisin a supermarket so I bought it to give it a go.

Day One. I'm at 196 Pounds / 37 Inch Waist / 20% Body Fat.
Today I will be sorting out the food I'll be eating (Meat & Vegetables), tomorrow I start weights at the Gym.

Thinking could start a blog or something.

Hot Pockets are something I haven't eaten in years, believe it or not. I used to eat the Philly Cheese Steak ones all the time when I was in high school. I'd do 4 of them for a meal. I remember how the gray meat and sickly-pale sauce inside those reminded me of ground-up rats. Turns out I probably wasn't far off.

Anyway, that shit is way too unhealthy for me nowadays.

So due to scheduling I couldn't make it Tuesday to the gym but went last might around 9ish pm and it was perfect, was me and one other guy in the leg section. I'm thinking I might just keep going late, I'm more of a night owl anyways.

That's when I used to go. I've had to move it up earlier since I have to be at work before 7am, but I basically try to never be at the gym earlier than 6:30pm. It's a pretty good time to avoid the crowds.

Update:

So this week is week 4 of 12 of the biggest loser contest at work. Im now edging out the competition and pulling away. I lost 6 lbs last week, I was surprised as hell at this number but Ive been steadfast with the diet. Its also getting easier now since my body seems to be getting used to it. So now im at about 10% loss so far, the next person which is close is about 8%.
My clothes are getting bigger and my belt is getting tighter. Feels good and this will be just in time for spring/summer.

The pepperoni lean pockets are tasty but too many calories for how filling they are. They're like a quick snack but they're 650+ calories.

Lol blue cheese with pepperoni hot pockets? It's junk food amateur hour up in here. Ranch is the best condiment for all pepperoni-related foods. It is known.

God I feel myself getting fat just typing all of this.

I'd think after a month most people have dropped out. By 2 months, it'll be just you and the other guy, until he realizes he can't win and quits. Almost no one wants to lose weight to actually lose it.

Ranch is almost never the answer. Overused and bland, there's almost always a better sauce or dressing for the situation. Almost like ketchup.

Ok need advice. On the 10th i was stupid and way overdid it. I have had really tight sore traps and neck since which has led to two weeks of tension headaches. I haven't done any lifting since just stretching to try and releave the tension. Question is do i try working out again and see if the old adage "the best cure for sore muscles is to get back out there and do it again", or do i keep taking it easy and just stretch. Obviously if i did work out again it would be lighter than the last time.

I always just go and lift and take it easy at first (I always warmup with just the bar anyways) and evaluate as I go. But that's my own body, so I'm willing to take the chance.

I recommend everyone get a very firm foam roller and a lacrosse ball. The lacrosse ball is probably what you need for your traps/delt area. Use it up against a wall and it'll get some of those knots out.
