Just looked into that stuff and it's got real good reviews. Is it something that will keep you up at night if you're working out in the evening or does it wear off after a couple hours?
C4 is pretty good as far as PWOs. All of these products do have diminishing returns, however. And if you're a coffee addict, they probably won't do shit for you.

As for sleeping, again, are you already ingesting caffeine? If I take it after work (6-7 pm) I have a tough time getting to bed by 10:30-11:30. If I take it in the morning (5:30 AM) I'm fucking amped the entire day and pass out like a little bitch by 10:30. I use AmiN.O. Energy now over C4.

Also bros, I've discovered a dilemma related to my former dilemma concerning squats and deadlifts - my vastus medialis (the bulbous part of the quad) on my left leg is significantly larger than the one on my right leg. My plan of action is to lighten the squat weight and force the pressure onto my right leg and begin doing iso extensions and leg press. Is this a solid plan? Do you recommend anything for iso quad movements? Am I retarded?

The only thing you really can do is right leg only leg press and iso extensions. I would not mess around with shifting your weight off center on squat, that could screw up a whole host of stuff in your back. You can also do weighted lunges, 2 on your right to every 1 on your left.

Hamstrings/glutes don't seem to be affected but it is possible. And yes, shifting weight is a pretty bad idea - I realized I need to evenly distribute the tension so that's what I'll focus on... otherwise I'll just end up reversing the problem lol.

If it's just the quad I'd work them both the same and just add some leg extensions for the smaller leg. Compound exercises will be working out your glutes and hamstrings as well, just creating more imbalance

I've never done any iso work for my legs, just wondering if it's a good idea.
I personally don't do it with legs because I'm not big enough for shit like that to matter. Doing Iso work with upper body is really common so I don't see what harm it would do. I see people doing iso leg extensions every day in the gym. I wouldn't go overboard focusing on your right leg or you might end up improving everything else as well and other parts of your left leg will start to lag. What Ambiturner suggested is probably best, do your normal routine but throw in iso leg extensions for your right leg.

I would match everything I do with my right leg with the left. I've read the best way to fix an imbalance is not to just say "fuck it, doing right leg only." But starting with the weaker side and matching your stronger side with the same # of reps. Naturally the left leg won't feel as sore, but it will be doing the exact same work as the right and eventually it should come to an even enough balance.

Made sense to me when I read it.

I don't understand dudes who put that much shit into their body just to increase their workouts. Maybe I'm not into the bro-hulk shit or the wanna-be-underwear model shit, but whatever happened to just getting as big and strong as you can without adding a whole bunch of bullshit you wouldn't use otherwise?

You mean work overtime so you can keep working overtime while making slightly more money?

Nah, I'll just work 40 a week and enjoy my weekends.

All those analogies are terrible.

Xevy, because they want to improve faster or get the most out of their workouts? Everybody is different and draws the line somewhere. So you don't take any protein?

No? I don't take anything because I just like to do what my body can do with my average daily intake mix of healthy and really unhealthy shit. I don't understand beating myself to the point where I rely on a bunch of shit to basically keep me from crashing/hurting/gaining anything anymore.

Then again I'm naturally a big strong dude, so maybe I just don't care as much as the really overweight dudes or the really scrawny dudes who have some idealized goal they care about. I'm just not that.

I can't imagine buying shit with ridiculous names like TIGER DICK DUST or EXTREME BLAST PRO or whatever just so I can sustain my self destruction.

Uhh... I think you are a little disillusioned about the supplements most people take: some form of preworkout (usually just caffeine with aminos), whey protein isolate (just protein extract basically), multi-vitamins (self-explanatory?).

You're just coming off very pretentious and misinformed.

Hahaha, supplements are placebos and garbage. Keep lying to yourselves about all those sick gains that sugar drink you suck down is giving you or all that extra protein you couldn't possibly get from food affords you.

My protein shake has zero carbs in it, and I easily get 300g protein a day before the shake

Good for you, but why does everyone else have to have that arbitrary goal? And there's a lot of supplements that are actually very good for you
