So it would seem that Japan hasn't been very good to me. Specifically, Manami's parents. When I left, I was right around 194 lbs. I weighed myself today and I'm 92 kg (203 lbs).

Unacceptable. I need to stop eating everything that Manami's parents put in front of me. I don't care if it's polite, I'm getting heavier as a result.

They have all the major ones, I know I've had Twix and Kit Kat ones. I need to ban myself from drunkenly going into 711's because I always walk away with candy. Lately I've been all about these cookies.

$1.40 for one fucking cookie!? They better be the size of dinner plates for that.

They're nearly a quarter pound each, so yeah, that's a pretty big cookie.

*Source: I have a lot of experience with cookies.

My diet requires 711 cookies and at minimum a forty a day. I'm trying to be a trend setter.

That looks the way vegetables used to look to me. About as appetizing as dirt.

Just looking at it makes my stomach turn.

Bullshit, cookies always look delicious; it is just a question of self discipline. I would eat that shit in a heart beat but then again, I have to eat over 3,000 calories just to maintain my body weight so I give no fucks.

We had a company outing yesterday with a bunch of barbecue pit masters and what not. Think I gained 45 pounds.

I'm really feeling the post-workout endorphin release big time these days, and when I don't get it, I feel like a sloth. I skipped working out Tuesday to do some work around the house, and felt guilty all day. I've been hitting it 6 days a week. Its very easy to see how people get addicted to fitness and take it to extremes.

I can bench 205 now (5 sets of 6), squat 185 (shutup with your leg day comments, I'm working on it) and do 12-14 pull-ups in a row. Fitness is fun. Down to 182lbs. Also running a mile to warmup before lifting, usually in 7:30. Which is kinda fun and then I sweat like I am going to die my first 20 minutes lifting. Haha.

The first time in at the very least 15 years since I've seen a number under 230. I don't even give a fuck that it's only .2 under. 2 years ago I maxed out at 268.

That's great, bro. Shit makes me nauseous looking at it. To each their own.

Great job!

I'm edging closer to 200 every day, myself. Every digit dropped is an accomplishment.

Should have mentioned this too. The most noticeable change is the pair of jeans I put on this morning I could wear without a belt last winter. This morning I had a good 2-3 inches of waist room to work with.

How much do you deadlift? 12-14 pull-ups is pretty impressive, even I can't do that and I bench and squat a lot more than you lol.

I guess the difference between 200 and 180 is significant? Or I'm just a pussy with no lats.

I don't deadlift heavy yet. I'm a pussy about hurting my back. I have been doing 3 sets of 12 reps with 115 lbs.

The chin ups thing is probably because chin ups have been the lions share of my back day for some time. I do three sets plank one-arm dumbbell rows with 70's (alternating arms), the lever rows with 2 45's on the bar (don't know what this machine is called, it's like a lever straight out and you put the plates on the end), then 6 sets of chin ups, alternating wide grip and close grip, 8 reps. Then I do 3 sets of pull downs on the cable rack with 140lbs on it, then biceps.

Chin ups are hard but I'm finding you can get really strong at whatever you practice. You want to get better at chin ups? Do chin ups.

Neither bench nor squat would really help you with a pullup though (we are talking pullups and not chinups right?). I hover around 195-200. Back/bi day for me starts with 4x10 wide grip pullups, 4x10 inside grip pullups, on the rare occasion, ill throw chinups in. I did about a month of pullups with 25lbs added, but fewer reps, say 4x6-8 for each. After pullups, cable lat pull downs, wide grip, and inside grip (palms facing me, more like a chinup) back to back 4x10. Then a toss up of cable rows, bent over rows, or single arm rows. Depends how I feel. I'll rotate those as needed.

Obviously, I didn't start with all of that..upper body has always been weak for me, so i started with assisted pullups, lots and lots and lots of reps..machine lat pulldowns, machine rows. Banner day when I was able to crank out 5 widegrip pullups in a row.

The reason I asked isn't because of his squat or bench numbers, but because he's claiming 12-14 reps of pull-ups and didn't list a deadlift weight.

12-14 reps at is pretty damn good, even at 180 body weight. Unless he's talking chin-ups in actuality.

For reference, I only pull 295 compared to squatting 285 and benching 245. I think low-bar squats are killing my deadlifts gainz bruhs.
