I throw the dumbbells forward personally. Idgaf, shit is heavy. I'm not risking injury.I just go back and forth between bar and dumbbells depending on what is available and ask people for a spot in my later sets when I am close to failure. I don't train to failure on every set, so I usually know which sets I'm going to have a risk of failure on.
I'd also just drop the dumbbells rather than hold on to them if I was failing. Hope your toes aren't near
Well lots of dumbasses at LA Fitness stand really close to work out. Swear to god I've had to stop mid set to avoid hitting them with the weights they're standing so close. That is one of the main reasons I work out in the morning at LA Fitness. I hated working out so much after work that it started to drive me to quit lifting. I started waking up at 5am, which was fucking terrible at first, but after awhile it became second nature. The gym I go to is still pretty full around 5:30-6:00, but nothing like in the afternoon. At this point, as long as I get my preworkout in before I leave I'm Gucci.Wish I had the motivation to get up before 8am. Working out after work sucks ass.

Yup. My gym doesn't open until 7 on the weekends, but I still wake up at 5 and stream something I haven't seen while I wait.Yeah waking up at 5 AM for the first time is a lot like taking a dick in the ass for the first time. But you get used to it, until it becomes routine. The only downside is on weekends, I literally cannot sleep in. The latest I'll wake up is like 9 AM. It's fucking awful.
