That's pretty bizarre. I got my ring when I was 130. I'm 170 now, fits pretty much the same.
I was 277, 215 now and the ring doesn't fit for shit. It only recently got to the point where I just can't wear it anymore for fear of losing it.

How is it possible that 10lbs makes you lose so much "finger fat" that your ring would just fly off your finger? Are you all hands?
Haha I don't know. I just have chubby fingers maybe. All I know is, it does happen.

The worst part about losing a lot of weight is that awkward period right in the middle of your fattest and your goal. Your clothes are so baggy that they look like shit on you, but you know you're going to be losing a sizable amount of weight still so you don't want to bother buying "temporary" clothes.

The worst part about losing weight is the fact that your face is the first to slim down so it looks weird compared to the rest of your body.

Yeah I am right there. It is ok right now because of my rotating shifts at work I'm about to do 2.5 months on mid shift. But when I get back around to days I give presentations and run meetings, so I have to come up with some kind of solution between now and then that doesn't involve dropping 500 bucks on clothing.

I'm going to be to this point soon too and while it sucks, it's a pretty cool problem to have.

Fiber is overrated and can actually fuck up your digestion. Most people I know can't tolerate the amount of recommended fiber and end up with loose stools.
I don't aim for fiber, I just happen to eat a lot of fibrous foods - beans, vegetables, etc.

Buy stuff at a place with a generous return policy. While I was losing weight, I bought a few things at kohl's. When I hit my goal I returned the few inbetween clothes I had and loaded up on tons of stuff. I went from a size 44 to 34, and was able to get through the transition stage without looking too goofy most the time.

This. I started entering this zone a week or so ago. I have come to the conclusion that I will have to buy a couple of intermediate pairs of jeans / work pants as a belt only goes so far. I am trying to hold out for a little while longer because I want the size difference from 'original to now' to be the same as 'now to goal'. If I can do that it won't feel like a complete waste of cash.

Seems pretty common sense, but I would have never thought of this. I will probably give it a try.

I once grew out my hair to an obscene length. There was a period of time in between having a bowl cut and having almost long hair where you just looked like a homeless woman with a dick and people weren't quite sure if you were gay. I think it's the same thing with weight loss.

Except you still look gay even when your hair reaches full length.

Great work Tarrant.

Wife is 3 weeks from delivering. Time to start again for the endless amounts of pictures and shit that are about to be taken.

My family we soon be moving and my wife is looking for a new gym. There is a planet fitness close to the house which would be very handy. I am a bit suspicious about the auto withdrawal system gyms are using. Does anyone have any feedback?

Planet Fitness is for people who don't actually want to work out, just make it appear that they are. Seriously. They're awful.

The auto withdrawal thing isn't anything crazy. Just make sure you know the cancellation policy and all that and make sure you document it. I worked at a gym for a while and it's fucking awful. They'll do anything in their power to keep any extra money they can.

The auto withdrawal is normal and I never had a problem with it when I went to Planet Fitness.

Just make sure you give them written notice whenever you want to cancel. They'll just keep charging otherwise since it's in the contract that you sign.

It's the perfect gym for women to fit in though.

Planet fitness has like pizza parties and shit still? It's a joke. And while it might not matter to your wife, ours has an alarm that goes off if you grunt too loud or drop a weight. It's a joke.

Be careful with auto withdrawal. I forgot to change my card so my gym kept trying to charge a card that no longer existed. $30 a day for a week and they never called me to see if it was an issue. Had to pay that shit too, they threatened to bring it to a collections agency.
