Last gen C63s coupe? Good prices
Last gen E63s sedan? Still sort of high due to demand
RS5 with TT V6?
4rd gen CTSV sedan?
Ctsvs I think were still marked up bad, but was one I listed for a bit.

Rs5 is the wagon right? Sure maybe though I do like v8 sound. At the point I'd want to rent anything so I have a better idea than a very brief test drive if I truly like it

Winter, wife, and as just a commuter, I just don't like them completely day in and day out. Enjoy a stick on special occasion, but really only love manual on bikes which works different and you can slip the clutch all day with no concern.

You can get a C7-Z06 for C8 money. I have a bias on looks against the 8th gen, but that’s not relevant to everyone. Even a C7 Grand Sport with $10k in mods will make 650hp super reliably.

Now, the trade off is interior polish and materials, but they are perfectly livable.
I can't think of a vehicle that gives you more bang for the buck across both the base and Z06, in any generation. In order to appeal to a younger crowd, and not just be an old man sports car, it's been Chevy's marketing strategy to make the Vette the best price for performance for as long as I have been paying attention.

While adding a turbo or super will take the HP to stupid levels for a street car, I've seen people put too much HP into cars, while not upgrading the drivetrain, leading to shit breaking.

I’ve got like 2 dozen more options if the budget allowed up to $100k. Tough to get big power/torque and avoid American cars in the 40-60 range.

It’s definitely a performance bargain. But, also requires skill and respect because they will murder you if you aren’t capable and alert.

Anther tiny space of the jag is awd more forgiving though I never really came near in trouble with the GT mustang, no corvette for sure.

Maybe this isn’t as exciting, but any B58 powered BMW or the 5th gen Supra. Power, fun, and livable.

Jag dealer rep sounded like a numpty on the phone said private seller a few times, just want to confirm CPO coverage, and the texts still look like this lol. with.

Lol retard stopped repling to me with some even dumber shit, and then I talk to another Jag dealer in the town who was able to confirm CPO and that they can sell me an extension etc. If I was more petty I'd call back the first and be like fire this dumb fuck or send him to the Kia dealer.

I'd love to try a B58 car, Savagegeese etc wont stfu about them. But I dont know BMW well enough to say oh this and that model might be in my range etc. Supra I kinda like, though sounded like just as bad or worse than a c7 for being easy to fuck up. I am being a retard probably and picky about wierd stuff, but I'm scared that unless it's just as retarded as brash jag I'll feel it falls short like the decked out mustang was. (I'm sure I'd love a GT500 though but current gen is out of my reach and cost sensibility anyways)

Wife did get over her objections, warranty confirmed, fair amount of things falling in place that barring it being a shitbox in person should be good. Sent me more pics of some little chips etc and paid it off so now in 3-4 weeks will have the title in hand.

I am kinda like I want to get a 1-2 day drive minimum with any future cars, sorta keeping with that and going to go try and drive a local F type again to make sure I'm not over waxing nostalgic on the motor/exhaust noise/pedal feel etc etc.

So warranty till next march, sounds like a jaguar extended warranty is still 3rd party thing. So if there's no factory extended option possible, anyone familiar with extended warranty companies that arn't shit? Not sure if something thru like Hagerty would be appropriate.

Re: CPO extensions and warranties

Random - but if you’re looking at a car in FL you have to get the warranty from Florida company and sometimes CPO extensions are only within X days. Just a note as it seems you’re looking all around. It is some law they put in to cut down scamming old ppl
