These days you have to bundle everything together to get the maximum discounts. You won't see the final price until you bundle home and car and umbrella and get the bundle discounts applied.
Actually I ended up splitting recently. Bundle discount was only like 20% but each coverage was about 40% less so separated my homeowners from the rest.

Pretty sweet, with new bundle quote and $35 less from selling the bike, Will be like all of $20 a month increase overall to party jag insurance.

Wish I could find my old billsthough to see what it was in co. Think it might have been more than the $152 a month that it will be.

Burren forget what part of TX you are, but on the 8th if all goes to plan let me know if you want to take it for a spin if it works out on my route between Austin>Ft worth >tulsa.

Almost exactly the same colour, but with an extra 2 drops of pure yellow in 1/2 litre of colour.

First time spraying 2-pack, and I reckon it came out OK.

New brown Biltwell grips finish the whole package out nicely.

Registered and riding by the end of June.

From the pictures, it looks like it came out really well for doing it outside.

If you ever want to chase better and better results, it's not toooo hard to set up your own temporary/portable spray booth in your garage. I have seen plans using PVC pipe or wood as the frame and plastic sheeting as the walls, to isolate. You then use cardboard and a box fan to set up an exhaust tunnel, along with cardboard/wood frame and filter(s) set up as an intake tunnel/quarter-wall. Enclosed spaces need a proper respirator, to filter the chemicals out though.

I appreciate that, but I’m north Houston and that’s pretty far out of your way.

Bet you’re pretty excited to get back into a fun car again?

Yeah, before I even drive out of the lot yanking fuse 15 to supposedly get most of the noise back. Friend met the guy yesterday to look it over, so barring any surprises should be OK. I'm just scared title is late and not ready by the 8th despite being 4 full weeks

Bill of Sale and actual possession mean a lot still, legally. I’m sure you won’t run into any issues getting it home.

Also depends on the bank. Every one I've done recently has been in under 10 days, which I was somewhat surprised about.

There are systems in place for quick issuance of temp permissions to drive the vehicle. In Texas its: Vehicle Transit Permit

Will police fuck with you if you have the title signed and dated by the seller, along with title transfer paperwork also signed and dated? Probably not, unless you did some other bad shit to piss them off.

Right I think he's legit, it's just not great to not have title on hand and have him send it and hips the goblins don't lose it in the mail

How does TSP feel about 30 over on the highway

On one hand, you're probably joking but on the other hand you also ride a bike...

So, here is my general experiences on speeding and such in the relevant parts of Texas (mostly):

There are a lot of police around DFW but still, plenty of people go 70 to 85 regardless of the posted speed if it's a highway (with a frontage road). There are still a lot of highways with a posted 60 to 65 MPH (that doesn't mean people don't get pulled over at 75/80 in a 60).

On my numerous drives from Austin to DFW and from DFW through Oklahoma, I usually stayed within 10 mph of the posted (once I got out of DFW). Of those numerous trips, I can only recall being pulled over twice. Once was for expired tags in Ft. Worth, which I got a ticket for and a second, in Sherman (by a Trooper) for ~12 over, no front plate, and expired registration... which I got a warning for all three.

Also, I've seen numerous people on 69 in OK getting the various elective and optional taxes when driving though those little small towns.

The only time I have passed a patrol car going close to 30 mph over was a Houston city police officer at around 60 mph in a 35... which he/she did not pull me over for (it was in the hood, so maybe he had better things to do).

I can confirm from personal experience pretty much every single thing said here...

In the cities I rarely see speeding actively being enforced unless you're in the 15-20+ over range. At the advice of my ficticious legal counsel I am going to choose not to talk about exactly how fast i've gone on certain Dallas freeways (*cough*LBJTexpresslane*cough*). In the last quarter century in Dallas I have gotten one speeding ticket for 13 over in a suburb (Irving). Outside the cities I know a common cop mantra seems to be "8 your fine, 9 you're mine" in terms of being over the posted limits as that's a solid revenue stream for all those small towns.... The small towns south of Dallas on 45 and 35 are notorious speed trap meccas, and it's smart to fire up Waze and pay attention if you don't have a radar detector.

Oklahoma cops take that concept to a whole different level, same with Arkansas.

With that said there was recently another push by some municipalities and police departments in Texas to deploy speeding cameras, it seems to have run into some mighty stout resistance.

So much effort to what was us mostly a joke. Outside of Georgia pitting everything they can, Texas state patrol I did think had a hard as reputation. I'll settle with getting home cleanly until I'm registered.

That and doing 130mph probably not great on 2018 tires that have started dry cracking.

Going to see how tight budget is, but torn between going big on PS4S or whatever I mess up the acronym, or try these Indy 500s that I've seen a few jag and a lot of muscle car guys use since I'm not as concerned with slinging too many corners.
Need to figure out what optional bigger sizes will fit a I no longer remember.

Tires are something you just don’t cheap out on. Ps4s and ps5 are great options.

That’s one reason I recommend cars with clutch pedals, lol.
Also thinking about powder coat wheels, I don't like this shade of gray and cover tiny amount of damage but don't want to drop 3k on wheels.

Just not sure gloss black with the carbon, or what color. I could do something crazy, but I'm a color idiot and would pick something that clashed with the body gray. I'm also unimaginative so would just do like a bronze or I dunno
