Faile pov chapters were the worst.

That was another good episode. The show did what it could with the budget it had.

binged through season 3 half heartedly, don't really remember fuck all from the past 2 seasons.

episode 4 Rhuidean did finally deliver an actually good hour of TV, matched up decently with what I imagined in my mind the crystal towers lineage Aiel walk would have been like. Wish we had seen more of Moraine's visions, she doesn't know about Lanfear being Mieren Sedai and all that stuff Rand saw, would be neat to get her perspective on it.

but god damn everything else about the show is such a dumpster fire. Every time Aviendha is on screen i literally laugh, how the fuck did they find one of the ugliest women on the planet to be in a TV show. She makes Lizzo look sexy. Literally a dog playing Aviendha would have been more believable/cute.

This last episode has so many bizarre moments. Alanna gets hit by a giant arrow from nowhere, she is dying and laughing as a black guy gets burned, next scene she is sitting and just fine. Bain and Chiad are getting cut up by a big trolloc force defending the waygate, next scene they are strolling around just fine. Housewives with spears and a useless tinker are taking down 600 lb trollocs all day. Why the FUCK did Perrin let Fain just walk away LOL

i gotta imagine the show is cancelled, no one i know is watching and my wife, a huge WoT superfan, stopped after season 1. Rings of Power has all of amazon's money and focus, can't argue its better but at least it doesn't look like a shitty high school stage play filled with ugly dykes.

I don't think Sammael is dead, moraine or lan I think were stirring around his body. I'm guessing he's gonna replace Asmodean as Rands "teacher" unless Asmodean shows up next episode. yeah makes no sense which is how the showrunner thinks!!

oh well, at least we're almost up to the 5th book, the namesake of this forum so small victories i guess. Please Satan Bezos cancel this shit stain of a show though.

I would be shocked if they showed the scene of Taim making those Aes Sedai kneel before Rand at Dumai's Well, if the show makes it that far.

While the showrunner's stance on having ugly people in his show is known, it's funny because a lot of the men and women in the show look ugly but when you see pictures of them online they're decent for the most part, but Aviendha is just downright ugly, there's no redeeming quality whatsoever, and she's not even really acting well enough to warrant her spot in the show beside DEI.

Alanna was hit by a trolloc arrow shot by the small force led by Fain that sneaks into Aemon's Field from the back.

I agree with the disjointed moment of Alanna dying and then being fine later, we never see her get healed so it must be assumed the Cauthon girls healed her offscreen since the Wisdom had been killed by more arrows. The black guy who burns is the Whitecloak Inquisitor who's been a pain in the ass to Perrin since season 1, and also burned Mat's mother at the stake and led the ambush where Alanna got shot multiple times by crossbow bolts, so it's understandable she's laughing at that.

Bain and Chiad being Aiel Maidens of the Spear, they're always going to be shown as great warriors, that's not really girlbossing or modern woke shit, it's just how the Aiel are written in the show. At least they're not ugly so there's that... however those scenes are ruined by Loial's useless and stupid sacrifice (the showrunner basically did it just because he wanted the battle to have a cost, there's literally no other reason).

From what I found online, season 4 is not greenlit yet, but the reviews are mostly positive for the show so it will probably be greenlit, if only because there is really no other fantasy show out there to steal audience from it, and it's a well-known name.

I shouldnt even be watching the show, but it does a fine job of putting me to sleep. But the point of the quote is, is that I am entirely too uncomfortable with how you pulled the show back into logical reality - showing just how fucking out of touch the show is.

So I had been doing paperwork/calls/fixing stuff and so on for 39 hours and was still wide awake when the finale popped up last night. Excited I hit play. I was asleep in 4 minutes. Best series ever. Saved my life

yeah pretty lame finale, some good moments like what Moggy did to Sammael but overall just stupid, rushed choices that look cheap. Everything felt so super rushed which is bizarre since they could have cut so much out of earlier episodes and moved the palace hunt stuff to a previous episode and dwelt more on Car'a'carn. Can't tell if bad writing or lack of money for how flat most scenes landed (why not both).

Siuan giving a giant speech that said absolutely nothing and then getting her head chopped off was hilarious. Not sure thats what they were going for.

Well, a greatly diminished cast if it returns next season but I hope not, show sucks and it deserves to be cancelled.

Honestly, if this was a series I was half way concerned about - this would make me rustled. But since its Amazon, and I actually expected way more of it in the show, Im not over annoyed at it. Still think its fucking obnoxious that a fucking tranny finds their way into every fucking show on television, though. Will be so glad when the conservatives are fully reawakened.

The keeper, within the first 5 minutes of the episode is Rebecca Root. A fucking transvestite. I wasnt even looking over at the screen and was like "This persons accent is atrocious. Who the fuck is on there?" Only to be completely unsurprised its a man in drag.

Never mind the fact that a man, even in drag, or dick chopper itself, would still go against the fucking lore of the show as far as I know.

Lol, they beheaded Siuan? That's fucking hilariously bad. Decided to reread the whole damn thing. Halfway through Shadow Rising, which sounds close to where the series is at. I wish someone would come along and behead Faille, but otherwise it's still fantastic reading.

While I was surprised at first by the deaths of some of the characters this season, I can understand what they are trying to do because both of those characters after this point in the books go on the bench for literally more than half of the book series, doing very little in the background. Both reach The Last Battle in the books and contribute to it, but as a massive simplication of the books, this series adaptation is always going to cut side characters as soon as they stop being very important, there's just too many otherwise. Even in the books the Aes Sedai names and royalty names and even the cities all become jumbled after a while, there's just so much information.. on TV you have to keep the list a lot shorter, same reason they cut the number of Forsaken from 13 to 8 and merged several plotlines from them.
