But, again, it's different than what hodj did here.
Tanoomba walked back his comment because it was being taken the wrong way and he didn't want to get punished for that interpretation. It's like if you said, "That's the bomb!" on a plane and everyone thought you were going to murder them but you were just reliving the nineties.
Hodj apologized for the comments he made because he said he went too far (ie, was wrong).

Don't get me wrong, hodj is a toxic shitposter. I think he creates a chilling effect at times (and I think he underestimates just how accurate this poll probably is). But, that makes an apology all the more surprising, even if it is long overdue.
Hopefully he dials down his autism a notch for the future.
