It's WOW PVP. It has leaderboards and shit I think. I guess that depends on who is playing in the end. I couldn't care less imo. I wouldn't be playing this for PVP, at least, the open world PVP. I don't know if they group together servers into battlegroups or whatever.

Fair enough, I do care, you don't, I think it ends there. I'm just having a hard time figuring out if Wildstar's pvp scene is something I will ever care about I guess.

It was described, quite accurately I feel, on the beta boards as "at best -- a bunch of spastics slamdancing"

It's just a problem with their class design and telegraphs. This game was built for PVE.

Hey, they have an oceanic server. Good on them.

Added a server choice tab on the google docs --- if you have a preference feel free to cast your vote there. Keep in mind that it has to be for NA PVE.

Go watch their pvp promo video on the website and look at youtube videos. There are arenas, rated bgs etc. It's all on the side though.

This game doesn't have the pvp you are looking for. There isnt any non instanced safe farms where you can safely make your money milking cows.

Lol good one, FWIW ArcheAge's pvp has taken a turn for the worse. I mean I could see myself doing bg's in Wildstar etc for a while, sounds a little fun, depends on who I play with I guess.

Besides, we're all whores for that day 1 MMO rush.

OPen world pvp like archage and those type of systems take time to flesh out imo. You don't get a true sense of it in alpha or betas with disposable toons. In all seriousness, if you enjoyed pvp in WoW you will enjoy it here if you like the combat system.

Do you foresee a strong possibility of class abilities that are OP in an instanced PVP game causing nerfs that negatively impact that class in PVE (or vice versa)? That always seems to happen eventually in games that try to mix end game PVE raiding and instanced PVP.
