go to the main city, you should get a quest to find the housing rep. This finishes with a TP to your house, and gives you a skill to port to it at any time.
Things to consider. Housing is a HUGE money sink.
Early, you probably have some fabkits and deco drops. the deco drops ought to give you rested exp. and you can buy some more cheap ones from the housing vendor. (in the new UI menu that opens when you are in your house plot)
But, housing does cost ALOT. so you won't be able to really get a full grasp of it early. Go visit some other players houses. That's in the social menu.
Others have noted some of the problems. game isn't perfect. Too many quests is a major one. As was noted a few posts back. if you ignore "tasks" and challenges" and only do STORY quests, the game is about a million times more interesting. The massive quest bloat from challenges, tasks, crafting, and PATH quests, really takes away from any storytelling/pacing. Its nearly impossible to follow wtf is going on when you are just drowning in random tasks. Especially kill x tasks and challenges. Challenges are NEAT. but really REALLY distracting when you are trying to stay on task.
Can you even imagine? like back in Wow. doing those Eastern plaguelands quests, either Fordring, or the ghost girl. walking up to either and suddenly, "CHALLENGE! Kill 30 GHOSTS/ZOMBIES in 2 minutes!"
It would just destroy any sense of immersion, emotion, and pacing.
Challenges should be set up as veteran content.
Like, they only appear AFTER you outlevel the area. They level you down to the area, and then present the challenge to you.
Either by level, or AFTER you complete the areas story quests.
