@Crowing I use ProcHUD (a separate addon which is good for all classes imo) it triggers at 5 PP for Esper's, it's been working np.
@... There are a lot of folks in the board guild (Sin Filled Afterlife) that are still just taking their time. I just hit 50 last night and am just starting EG grinding, gearing etc. The raid group went in to the 20 man for the first time last night, I believe they at least got a mini boss or something down but there are plenty of folks fresh 50 and still leveling as well.

Cool. I spoke to Voldeth before but wasn't sure I would stick around enough to not be a bother. I'll hit him up tonight and hopefully get up in there. I'm pretty used to being in a decent guild but fat-kid benching during raid times.

Not the words I ever want to see in another MMO again.
I've been on the fence about Wildstar for some time. I've been following this thread more closely over the past couple weeks and the more I hear the less likely I am to take the plunge. The game play just sounds like a grind with the end game content having a steep learning curve. I'm all for a challenge, but from what I've read this game sounds more arduous than fun.
Started out with an Esper, was hoping for a fun traditional caster, but fuck me I could not get into it. Rerolled a warrior and have been enjoying it a bit more. I'll be damned if the 5-15 zone isnt boring as hell though. Barrens v2
So we (a semi-hardcore guild) took down X89 tonight. A really fun fight to be sure, and we got him down in reasonably decent time (3rd night of wiping) after I was worried we had some really duff players in the guild. People pulled it together though and we're looking pretty promising for competing for future server firsts.

Yeah, I ended up biting the bullet and rerolling as a Medic. Maybe I'll revisit the Esper after the balancing patch, but since it's the Psi Point system I'm not wild about rather than the complaints about being stationary, I'm doubting the tweaks will be something that changes my mind about the class. My Medic might not do as much damage or kill things as fast, but combat flowssomuch better.

As for those who are casual: you're welcome to join the guild and participate in guild chat etc. Keep in mind that we're focused on raids at this point though - which is to say that all of our guild perks are oriented towards raiding (we'll probably never get the bonus exp and such) and discussion tends to be oriented towards stuff that matters at 50. We still answer questions and help out though.

People on Stormtalon who are newly 50 feel free to hit me up if you need a healer. The attunement wave passed me by at the Dungeon Silver stage and so I've been left to PUG my way along and that is not going well lemme tell ya.
I seriously wish the 'kill all world bosses' part was tied to an achievement that was tracked seperately as any World Bosses I help out on now or have done in the past are 100% a waste of time and I already can tell that trying to do them by the time I reach that step will be well nigh impossible.

Should be on regularly again soon. Had some other games I wanted to play, but I want to get level 50 soon.

The process of dragging people through attunement is going to kill this game for me. I've done more speed skullcano and swordmaiden runs where we sub multiple people in at the end than I care to count. This system is going to be scrapped or it's going to kill their game entirely. Once they implement the technologist research there will be zero reason to do dungeons for loot either. I don't think they have any clue what in the hell they are doing. There are a massive amount of completely nonsensical design decisions they make for no apparent reason, from class balance to encounter design. The Devs may be listening but I don't think they are competent.

I left the game for a number of reasons, but this has to be among the top ones: I started farming for other people during the infamous Vex Thal shard collection and never stopped, but if I dragged myself through PoP attunements, after trying out dungeons with randoms, my will disappeared like a popsicle under the sun.
Stubborn decisions? I don't know. I won't put up with these anyway.
