I'm always glad to see when an MMO puts that much time and energy into their soundtrack. When it's quite possible you're going to be listening to this music for hundreds of hours, quality is definitely important.

Agree to disagree about the art. I think the color palette and overall production value is among the best that we have ever seen in a game,especiallyan MMO. Did you see that linked interview with a guy from the art team earlier in the thread?

My problem with the art is that some stuff looks sort of realistic and others look way too Looney tunes. Which causes stuff to look disjointed. Also, some areas have objects that seem thrown in randomly and don't match the terrain very well. But I'm guessing that's just cause it's beta screenshots.

The art style is gay. Game may be the best thing since sliced bread but I will never play it because of the art, and I know a lot of people who feel the same way.

But, as WoW has proven, there are plenty of people who like living in a Saturday morning cartoon.

Also a fan of the art style. Stylized cartoony > realistic for the sole reason that animations still look smoother, and you can do more with it. The biggest problem my friends and I have run into with alot of the last few MMOs, was clunky feeling combat. Its one thing WoW has nailed down right now. Its incredibly smooth, responsiveness. When you get away from the cartoony look, it makes it harder to accomplish that, especially on the greatest range of machines which any successful MMO will shoot for.

The proof will be in how good their textures are. I can like cartoon style of graphics, but I like to see some good detail and lightning in them.

How do I log into my account? I signed up for beta, got the confirmation email, but I assume that didn't actually create an account for me? I'm apparently blind because I don't see any kind of account login button on Wildstar's front page.

Just wanted to login, and make sure stuff was up to date.

It won't be good unless like Dalaran they decide to cram about 200 distinct textures into the size of a small city block. My fucking bracers had better have 3 textures all by themselves. I want computers to explode in the presence of my bling.
