A nice asshole.
I have hard copies! But they don't carePretty sure it depends on whether or not you own Witcher 1&2 on Steam. There is no 'release day sale' or anything like that going on.

You should be able to register those codes with GOG.com and then get the discount to preorder on their website. But you already preordered months ago so I'm really only saying this in case someone else reads this reply and is on the fence about going that route.I have hard copies! Physical copies of Witcher 1&2 entitle you to the digital versions on GOG, which drops the price there to $48 as well.I have hard copies! But they don't careAlready preordered it months ago so doesn't really matter.![]()
They are gathering fame, notoriety, and the most important part...money. It happened to BioWare, Bethesda, etc. Eventually the almighty dollar always wins and gamers have voted over and over again that these decisions are OK with them. They'll bitch about it on the internet, but they still spend the money, which is all that matters.I like their stance on that and they are right, even though no one else (Publishers) say it. It just baffles me that a company that can be brutally honest about their stance on horseshit DLC add ons (For the betterment of the consumer in this case) can turn around and fuck PC gamers in the same breath on an entirely different issue.
Yup. Steam says "ca 1 hour" now. Fairly certain it is 1 hour 50 minutes if they haven't reduced it by an hour. Supposed to be a 1am release here.So the game unlocks today in a couple of hours. 4pm PST time here in LA!
It is decrypted. Restart steam after decryption is done for 1.3 gig patch.Pretty sure Steam released it. The timer is gone now and I'm DLing stuff.
Yeah. Grab an Xbox Wired controller and plug it in. If it's anything like playing Witcher 2 or Skyrim on a keyboard you will shoot yourself.Cool, they pulled the same shit than in Witcher 2 : there are keys you can't bind / unbind.
I did fine with The Witcher 2, just opened some .ini file and rebind everything.Yeah. Grab an Xbox Wired controller and plug it in. If it's anything like playing Witcher 2 or Skyrim on a keyboard you will shoot yourself.
