Pretty sure you can throw away the quests note that show in the misc items tab. I have been clearing that shit out and the quests are still there in my log. And BTW wtf is up with all the ugly ass armor geralt wears? By the middle of flotsam geralt was wearing some kick ass looking gear. Now he looks like a chump with only cloth pieces for the first half of the game.

This is definitely up there with DA:I, Skyrim etc for me in terms of pure enjoyment and interest to keep playing. It's not a 10/10 game but for what I want from an RPG, its close. I'll go solid 9/10. Definitely my favorite game since TLOU/GTAV. They just nailed so much of the story stuff, and the side quests are pretty compelling. The ? shit is terrible but its nothing more than fluff. Story alone is worth price of admission. Also, this game seems much, MUCH bigger than Skyrim and while the combat isn't really a strong aspect of W3 - its much better than Skyrim's. These guys need to team up with Bethesda and Rock Star and make my dream game.

Still feel like I've barely scratched it.

I've been carefully looking forward to this ever since it was announced and they fucking delivered. 10/10, hot candidate for GOTY, at least on PC.

Just, jesus, learn how to design a UI already. On the other hand, Bethesda has been struggling with that for ages.

Come on, now - what don't you like about our UI?!?

I like how the little cutscene things that come up when you're loading a saved game contain spoilers for things I haven't actually done yet or knew about.

I'm liking this game a lot, though.

I think it's pretty shit to be honest. Controls suck, combat sucks, world is OK, gear mostly sucks, abilities suck, inventory just accumulates tons of worthless shit, have to repair every 30 minutes.

The only well done thing is the production value behind the story scenes.

I'm really enjoying this game. It's been awhile since I have played a game where I'm constantly wanting to play and wondering what will happen next or what I'll discover. I feel like I have spent so much in game but I have yet to scratch the surface. Where do you find the %/time played? I'm on ps4.

My complaint: inventory management, I waste so much time on it!

Some of these side quests legitimately feel like other 7 hour single player games. Still loving it.

One thing that really frustrates me is when you call the horse. I feel like for immersion they decided to make it run from off screen. I can't count the amount of times it gets stuck behind shit or just takes to long to get to me etc. Definitly should have sacraficed immersion for convenience on something people will always be using.

I never use the horse really. Sprinting-running from place to place isn't *that* slow and I pick herbs on the way. Long-D shit I fast travel.

I was half sad slash happy that the horse-racing mini-games were trivial. I mean, as in my 45-year-old twitch found them one-shot each trivial. I wouldn't have minded the occasional (FUCK ME!) hard thing to do.

Doing this scavenger quest for the Griffin school? This is the first time where the controls make it AIDS (for me). You have to fight like 5 wraiths in this narrow hallway and their teleport shit makes it super hard to side step one without running into the next teleport. Took me like 6 attempts just to have the right timed teleports I could actually avoid without being staggered and instakilled. Also, is there a way to avoid the poison gas damage that I'm unaware of? I ended up just running to the otherside and the wraiths lost interest.

Geralt would benefit from some animation cancelling control scheme seriously.

Just use the Ard or whatver its called push Sign and it blasts the poisen away for a small period of time. Griffin quest is worth it. I've got a full griffin set on now it's beast.

If you're looking to reallocate your skill points
there's two merchants selling Potions of Clearance : Keira Metz in a cabin northeast of Midcopse and some dude in Novigrad in a building west of the Plaza. It costs 1000 crowns.

I think the most you have to fight at once in that cave is three. Definitely don't fight in the gas hallway unless you can get to the gas before they are out of it and igni it for an instant kill explosion.

The other trick with wraiths is to put down yrden to stop them from phasing out, and when they do teleport you roll through them the instant they reappear. They'll miss you every time.

Definitely agree about griffin gear being great too. I've got most of my points in signs, along with the medium armor perk in the generic section, and have almost +100% intensity now. Plus my stamina regens extremely fast so I can do more than just cast Quen over and over.

Isn't there only one missable card, the Foltest leader that goes away when you leave the prologue? I think the others she sells are not unique. So you miss the trophy, but it doesn't affect your ability to play gwent at all really.
