Is the aspartame thing still a thing?

They thought it might back in the 70's. The issue was studied. Turns out that it doesn't.

Jesus, incoming two pages on apartame...One of aspartame's metabolites is methanol i.e., wood alcohol, which in high quantities is toxic. However, the tiny amount that is converted into methanol in a package of sweet n low is less than what you would consume in a big glass of fruit juice.

Can someone track down who Wizardhawk is/was, perhaps a mod with some account info, and find out his status.
You don't have to necessarily reveal is personal info, it'd be nice though to know something definitively.

But I think there is probably a picture of a hawk that someone put a wizard hat on somewhere out there in the forgotten cobwebbed tube-junction of the internet. And I bet that's where the name Wizardhawk comes from.

It is possibly an Earthsea reference.
