Runner up: Man U. Recently dominant dynasty knocked off its perch a bit, fans still convinced they are the best team in the world, biggest non-local fan base in the world, Louis van Gaal (the new manager, currently Netherlands manager) is hated by everyone except most of his own players/fans everywhere he's been. No Brady figure, though. Rooney is disliked by a lot of people, but that's more because he's an ugly dude who has acted like a spoiled brat at times and hires grandma hookers, and because everyone in England thought he would become the best player in the world but didn't.

Welcome aboard lad! Sadly, the Arsenal forums are terrible. redandwhitekop.com is great if you want to see the excrement of humanity frothing at the moment online (hint, its a Liverpool forum), but redcafe.net is pretty decent even though its a Manc site.

Plus, if/when you make it over to England you can catch games in the only city in the country worth a shit.

So I'm completely oblivious to the whole system. What is the length of the season? When does it start? What is the playoff system like? Is there one? Are there divisions that cause brutal rivalries?

When Kahn retired in 2006, Neuer was 20 years old and played for Schalke's B-Team.
When Kahn retired in 2008, Neuer had just a few games played as a replacement keeper for Schalke A and wasn't on anyone's radar yet.
