You've posted one guy saying this shit and I posted video proof. Next?

What do you mean next? You guys don't seem to realise that saying "my guild did this in 2004" doesn't invalidate the claim that getting world buffs on private servers in 2019 is more common than it was in 2004". Your basically replying with an anecdotal fallacy/

So now it's just more common? 2004? I'm talking 2006, you know since at launch in 2004 you're absolutely right that people didn't fucking use buffs they didn't know about or didn't exist yet.

We got the ZG buff for a few attempts in Naxx but nobody in my guild bothered with tribute runs or that shit. We got stuck on 4H due to lack of tanks and not actually forming until after AQ released. We did have full flasks for most of Naxx though; I farmed the shit out of the Winterspring demons and sold eyes to a lot of priests to pay for most of them.

I think the real truth is somewhere in the middle of what ossoi says vs everyone else. I think there ARE new strats and optimizations that no one was using in 2004.. I don't think it's everything he said, but I do think they exist

Sure, based on invalid data that's mostly irrelevant anyways because people DID min/max in 2006.

Probably gonna blow some peoples minds here but Everquest and Vanilla raids were nothing but gear checks. The dungeons and the raids were just some social constructs to get people to rally around a common cause. The games are designed to be a world to explore with people not some DDR fuckfest with a constant arms race with the developers who can create the more exploitative UI to keep up with the retarded American Inventors from EJ who now work for Blizzard.

The mud games these were developed from have roots in D&D. Then again some of you retarded probably want to play Mythic D&D and kick out steve for not rolling his 20 sided dice fast enough.

There were no gear checks up through aq40 outside of nefarian. We had shit for gear and cleared up to the twin emps shortly after our server launched

First real hard encounter was the Twin Emps since there was a pretty strict rage timer.

I wasn’t a dumbass DPS warrior either so I didn’t slow shit down. That being said I wasn’t allowed to kill faster but your brain still can’t comprehend that.

We totally had at least one warrior wear leather. He died on almost everything because there were no aggro dumps and we weren’t alliance. His DPS was high but his damage done was low.

Do you think playing from the start with 1.12 talents will be different to playing from launch with 1.0 talents and progressive class talent changes?
