im not trying to be the best tank. ive got 5200 hp and 50.1% mitigation in dire bear, just curious if i can go do like live strat or rend runs maybe

You're going to have a bad time on SOME pulls without the armor talent (drak), but you can tank just fine with that spec. Remember that rejuv also gives a lot of threat in a 5man.

I've tanked everything in the game pre-raid with almost that exact same spec except with using a rings with armor/trinkets and the mace from LBRS (which is pretty easy to get, but also the mace from DM is good too). If you can find a Warden Staff for semi cheap that's basically an entire shields worth of armor. Armor modifiers on armor are huuuuge for bear.

tl;dr yes you can tank anything pre-raid as long as your group isn't pulling for you.

thanks! ill look into a warden staff but i do see the tribute mace for sale/rott quite often. ive only healed as druid but i dont want to keep paying to respec and tanks are always in demand. thanks for the rejuv tip.

Yeah I was in the same boat, druid can't really do anything exceptionally well but it can do everything decently. You can definitely take better bear talents but not THAT much better.

I also dps'd and healed MC with the same spec as well. I probably wouldn't heal with it once tier 2 regrowth bonuses came online but it's still not bad.

bears are nutty tanks in dungeons man, they won't scale like warrior damage does over time but they're very sturdy and can do plenty

Turns out that Moonkin with Tear was their guild leader and has an alt Rogue with a Thunderfury by taking the bindings, don't know the validity since this is from Reddit but if so it's goddamn hilarious. Talk about top level salt.

I hope it's true. But also that's about the only way to get thunderfury on a rogue lol.

Someone in my previous guild was running his own pugs and took a binding, lot of people were real mad about it on the server but.. yknow.. he established that they were reserved lol.

Yeah man, heart of the wild is real good early on especially cause a yuuuge mana pool.

You probably won't get very far trying to join a raid as anything other than resto, but you can 100% do every dungeon as pretty much any role you want. I still suggest tanking trinks/weap though.

what trinkets? is lodestone worth it? yeah ill get that wep. it is pretty good talent ive got ton of mana more than i had as full resto, seems silly.

Do healers still downrank? I always remember as Druid healer it was Ht rank 4 spam unless we were doing a swift mend big heal.
