This is my whole thing, I'm trying to get rid of that mentality for myself. I bash it for being a 15 year old game, but I just don't want to be ultra min/max. If I wanted to do that I would be raiding in retail right now. It's fine if people want to take the game serious but man I just can NOT be bothered with that shit.

I also find it very ironic that reddit in particular were always like "Classic is about having fun and playing what you want! Who cares about meters when you're just killing bosses with bros" and then the community somehow became significantly worse than BFA players in terms of telling you that you're playing wrong.

The only wrong way to play classic is to play a female dwarf hunter. What is wrong with you?

I feel most "casuals" and people who wanted to re-experience the world again and raid a little have already quit. Now you are wholly left with emu server nerds and professional redditors.

On retail I joined a ton of raids as a scab healer for guilds that were short. I'd be in there clicking people's flask cauldrons and eating their feasts and no one ever said shit about what I was wearing, the talents I was rocking or the buttons I was pressing. Classic is just an entirely different animal.

That moonkin is wearing 5pc tier 1 just to get the 2% crit set bonus lol. If you’re gonna be tryhard at least gear correctly. Nature’s Grace is a good talent but it does not mean gearing solely for crit at the expense of everything else is optimal.

I mean, druid t1 has crazy int on it as well as spirit/mp5.. so yes he could be taking more spellpower items he would be severely hindering himself missing out on several casts per fight where he'd be doing the same damage.

Short of having the bop items that drop with +arcane power (good luck, they also drop with 15 other modifiers) the dude is basically bis

it's amazing how easy some of those fights are just because you have so much dps, and how that dps doesn't help at all on a few other fights.

Ebonroc feels like Blizzard forgot an entire ability back in 2005 for him.

His gimmick was tank swaps because of the debuff that heals him. You now get that for lots of fights in retail because you wouldn't bring a second tank otherwise.
I think the three dragons should have been easier "soft" bosses before Chromaggus and after the suppression room.

I've never seen any moonkin stat weighting that backs this up. All that int on 5 pieces of t1 adds 1.5% crit, and blue preraid gear in those same slots would get him about 1% from int plus like 120 spell damage. His average starfire hit on Nef was 1000, spell power contributes to Starfire at 1.0 modifier, 2-3% crit does not outweigh a 12% flat damage increase.

So I got tired of my resto druid and made him hotw/resto (spec 4.1 Classic Druid PvP Guide) for pvp and black lotus picking but i was also wondering on the gear and tanking viability. im wearing like all resto pieces plus 4 piece t1 with lei of lillies and healer mace.. do i need more feral stuff for pvp or tanking?

im not trying to be the best tank. ive got 5200 hp and 50.1% mitigation in dire bear, just curious if i can go do like live strat or rend runs maybe
