If you think you can handle a no death run, try leveling on Hardcore. The zones (even STV) are very sparse. I even did the tiger / panther quest lines with hardly a problem. They offer free transfers off the server if you do happen to die to the regular Classic servers, so you don't technically lose the character. You don't get to dungeon spam until 60 though, as all pre-60 dungeons have a 24 hour lockout.

Go to add-on for layer hopping for these refresh servers? I would prefer to hop instead of dealing with level 60 horde zoomers in Duskwood...

No add on I know of allows layer hopping. Best way to do it is by group invite from someone on another layer. Guildies are a good source.

Nova world buffs will list your layer. If you click that then guild layers it will tell you what layers guild members are on, use that to hop.

Depending on server /join Layer Dreamscythe has everyone that has an addon in that channel so it automatically invites you. Can even ask for specific layers and if one of them has it you get that invite automatically. It works great.

I downloaded some hopping add on that does this. I need to pick up Nova World Buffs to see my current layer. But yeah, it seems to work. Probably don't need an add-on just join /layer and say "layer".

I honestly think about this every time I'm about 99% done with (arguably) the worst escort quest in game, the one from that tower back to Ratchet. Like just sit there and gank the player or NPC right at the end of that 30 minute escort.

Yeah I skip it now. My only classic run, I timed it while waiting for him to respawn. So you basically had to wait forever for the group ahead of you to finish the escort, then he takes 10 minutes after THAT just to fscking respawn. Devs did not respect our time in classic lol

A rogue greybeards that know how to get a pickpocket macro functional for your openers?

I've tried both with /stopcast and without and it's just launching the opener too fast for it to autoloot anything out of the pickpocket window it seems like? I'll see the loot window for a fraction of a second but even with autoloot on it doesn't grab anything and it vanishes when the opener fires and then I never get the stuff.

This is basically what my current macro is, less the /startattack

I think the issue is I'm trying to use Garrote instead of Cheap Shot? Something about the damage it does is starting combat too fast to allow me to get the pickpocket loot.
