All AMs are off the GCD with the exception of DK. Maybe monk too, but I don't know the class well enough.

The problem is remembering to actually hit it every 7-10s, not I don't have a free GCD in time. Again, I'm more than willing to admit this is just a personal problem and I tunnel vision too easily. I've played prot warrior enough to acclimate to every other part of the class, I just find myself forgetting to hit shield block. Maybe it's not high impact enough, falling victim to the same problem focused rage does.

I think short cooldown abilities should be like frenzied regen where you use them reactively instead of maintain.

Can you actually maintain SoTR? I thought it had a 16s CD.

Monk AM is not off the GCD because you have to combo it with Blackout Combo for maximim effectiveness and you have to carefully maintain its charges. Once you get 30% haste maintaining Ironskin Brew isn't bad. But clearing dmg with Purifying Brew correctly makes the management pretty tight. Easy to remember because Special Delivery is procced off of it and that can be a good chunk of your dmg.

I'd assume nothing is sacred at this point. They were ok with weak and powerful legendaries before the expansion. Now they want all legendaries to be roughly the same value (even if the value is not equal across all situations).

I've got the two BiS ret legendaries now (Whispers and Liadrin's) and they're receiving pretty healthy reductions in power (25%>15% damage bonus on Whispers, 1 Holy Power per 2.5 sec is now 1 HP per 4 sec on Liadrin's). Liadrins will probably get shelved for the new ret *shoulders. Hard to say.

Good news about the Moonkin helm - they're not tanking it. Well, not entirely. Dropping its dps boost from 14% to 7%, but leaving the part that changes your rotation. It's one of the most neat, and impactful items and effect that has happened to Balance in 10 years.

TBC: Spam Starfire
Wrath: Cast Wrath or Starfire base on Eclipse bar status.
Cata: Cast Wrath or Starfire based on Eclipse bar status. Starsurge on Eclipses.
Mists: Cast Wrath or Starfire based on Eclipse bar status. Starsurge on Eclipses.
WOD: Cast Wrath or Starfire based on Eclipse bar status. Starsurge on Eclipses.

Legion: Cast Solar Wrath (Wrath) to build AsP, Lunar Strike (Starfire) with more than 2 targets. Starsurge at full AsP.

The helm extends your Astral Power by reducing the cost of Starsurge, so between Starsurges you can dump a Lunar Strike, and get several extra Starsurges per filled Astral Power bar. It's a very tight rotation, and very dependent upon latency, since the cost reduction only lasts 3 seconds, and with 2 GCD's between the Starsurge and Lunar Strike, you need enough haste to get GCD and Lunar Strike below 3s.

They're nurfing the cost reduction from 10 to 7 (stacks up to 2), so you can't Starsurge indefinitely with enough haste, but you can still pull off the "Surgeweaving" described above.

I gotta say, I'm glad they didn't nerf either the warrior heal bracers or the DH tank ring. Yet, anyway.

Although I suppose any nerf to rage generation is a nerf to the heal bracer.

You're happy for the nerf to its proc rate or the minor reshuffling of the secondary stats?
I am not happy with the nerf to the proc rate, but getting a 1+m damage execute rage free is always great.

The secondary stat shuffle is for the better as crit is the lowest on the totem pole for Arms while Mastery is the most sought after stat.

Oh boy. Change to Prydaz means I need to reshuffle my items to avoid having too much haste.

Thankfully I keep tons of items around because this expansion is a bit dumb in that department. I've had to reshuffle items/gems/enchants like 4 times already just as I get various upgrades.

I think those are the wrong notes. I have scrolled down several times and every time I get to where the monk section is there is nothing. Gotta be a mistake.

Oh what's that? That's standard operation procedure? Gotcha. Fuck you B-Team Interns..

They changed the cloak from 150% of your max health to 150% increased damage. Which if I understand it correctly makes it basically shit?

I heal 15-20 million on the average 6 minute fight, its not a negligible amount of healing.
Yeah, it's definitely not negligible. Alone, it won't save me, but let's put it this way: When I stop hitting Hyrja during p1 of Odyn because we're so damn melee heavy, I notice that I need more healing. If I'm hitting her, I almost never drop below 50%.

Runspeed boots are nice but other than that WW monks legendaries are already boring as hell and marginal dps increases so there's nothing to nerf.
