Just curious, do disc priests do a noticeable amount of dps while healing, or is just a "gimmick"? As in, can other healers do comparable dps with their free globals? Seems like a fun spec if you can contribute more than just healing.

Disc priest are a little odd in that their healing comes from doing more damage. So the better they are at damage the better they are at healing. I have seen some instances were they were pulling 200ish k dps in Mythic+ a couple of months back. Might be able to do better with current states of gear.

No other healer can pull DPS numbers like they can, but other healers are also pushing 20% more healing. They're a flex option in raids, or for speed runs in mythics. I wouldn't want one when pushing peak mythic+. Their rotation is also completely fucking retarded. Super pissed they change them so much after how awesome they were in WOD.

Why did they nerf the Shaman Enhance ring? It is very difficult sacrificing timing to keep up all 3 elements. Now I am not going to even bother with fire for just a 1.5% increase.

Got my third legendary today, on my death knight this time. It's the trash ring. I guess it's a dps boost? At least it wasn't another absorb neck.

Disc Priests do very good damage. Some of the disc priests I play with can pull 400k+ with lust on M+ bosses. Holy Paladins can do very good damage too but they can't really heal while doing it like Disc can.

At first, it was like "well, ok, it's still an upgrade somewhat"

About 5mn later, it was "WHO DO I MURDER? I WANT THIS SOUND TO DISAPPEAR!!!"

(had to teach him how to shut the divine shield sound every 30s)

Lol who plays with in game sounds on? Between music and voice chat, I've had that shit off for years. Probably missing some epic soundtracks or something.
