Finally back from vacation and catching up on all this crap. Not sure what to make of these announcements. Not very enthused about anything for this new expansion except for adding leveling scaling to all content. The new playable races are just annoying for someone like me who has every class at level cap (multiples of some) because I don't think I'll ever want to level one of these.

The Avatar nerfs are great too. I understand they waited this long to let the debuff fall off after someone dies, but it should be a easy reclear this week.

It only took us 8 tries to kill KJ again last reset, hoping for a one shot this week.

yea we are currently working on how to smoothly get into the shadowphase without getting the arma, or healing adds. this fixes both of those problems since you can just push him early. dropping a tank for another dps is a pretty big advantage over the course of a 12 minute fight.

I don't. For one second, I was slightly enamored with heirloom armor, except the Dark Iron one is exclusive to Dark Irons, so fuck.

Completely agree with the mount(s) not dropping in LFR, though. It's just so mindlessly easy. Did LFR Gul'dan last night for an alt's quest completion and had someone standing on me the entire time while I was tanking him. No perceivable damage taken as a result. Luls.

I do only LFR and that's a rare thing (maybe once a month, or to finish quests, or to experience the content once to see story videos unfold.

I can't usually sit around for hours and wait for a group to fill, or maybe I'm not even high enough ilvl at the time to be considered worthy. People overshoot in their ilvl demands. A lot.

Not going to finish balance of power quest for that matter, it requires nightmare normal drops. Sadface irl.

Same problem here. I did not start the quest soon enough, and we stopped going to Nightmare basically as soon as the highborne raid was up. I'm missing about 2 runs, and by now, it's desert town trying to find a pickup going.

At the beginning of the week there are all kinds of quick EN/NH raids in the raid finder for legendary farming. I just got the EN part of Balance of Power done with that yesterday on an alt.

Parts of it are in Suramar, yes. It also involves collecting items from dungeons, then EN, and then NH. It unlocks a set of artifact weapon skins.

yep ive been getting all my alts through balance of power so i can be a laser bear on my druid.

finding an EN group is pretty easy even if you are world quest geared at 880 since that is the level that EN Mythic is tuned for, getting into normal shouldn't be a problem. usually 1 run is enough to get all the seething essence, but afterwards you have to do nighthold normal + gul'dan normal for an additional collection quest.
