Honestly though, I don't get how Grom would be an end boss? then again I don't see how the fuck they made Garrosh what he is now.


edit: I see now, The new expansion having Grom as the end boss, and time travel is to explain why a shitty end boss like Garrosh ever happened.

Not gonna be impressed unless they give us ogres as a playable race, in which case, BEST XPACK EVER.

At the end of a Time Travel expansion they pull a Zebuxoruk and reset time so that nothing ever happened? I think Orcs have been kinda done to death at this point though. I rather thought that slaughtering thousands of them in Siege of Orgrimmar would have both helped explain why there are almost no Orc player characters and additionally allowed the plotline to move PAST orcs. For the love of god I know Metzger has a hard-on for anything with tusks but enough already with the orcs and trolls.

How easy is it to solo old raid content once you are relatively "current" with flex and LFR gear? I always enjoyed that about WoW, any classes particularly good at it?

Death Knights are probably the best at soloing old raid content.

Mind you, almost any class can solo up to TBC at 90, even with just isle gear. Once you get up into the 520s+, you can solo most Wrath (Heroic Lich King and/or Yogg being difficult for most classes, though a 560ish Mage recently soloed Heroic 25 LK). Geared and very skilled players can and often do solo some of Cataclysm, though mechanics make some of the fights difficult/impossible.

For a time, due to the Mastery scaling and the huge item inflation from Cataclysm to MoP, Paladins at 80 and 85 were able to solo some MoP raid bosses, but it has been since nerfed/fixed. Geared tanks can solo Sha in Townlong Steps, but unless you are just looking for the rare mount drop, there is no point to it.

Mione is also a ridiculous player and devotes pretty much all his WoW time and gearing to do these kinds of videos. I think I remember him doing Brewery challenge mode solo. It took him 40mins mind you, but still. He knows how to take advantage of his class with mechanics thrown at him.

For anyone coming back into the game and wanting to do LFR stuff the Crystal of Insanity is a pretty damn nice item to acquire on the Timeless isle. Just go to the Cave of Lost Spirits and keep opening the purple wall crystals (that usually give a few coins) until you get one.

500 to all stats potion with a 15 min cooldown is pretty damn nice for folx who do not want to bother with flasks.
