Do you mean the 8 or so phased quests in Frostfire / Shadowmoon that you do, to build your garrison, or the whole scenario to chase Gul'dan through Tannan? You can skip the scenario by just running out to where the garrison quests start. You can use a portal to Warspear / Stormholdwhatever, a summon, or the in game teleport from Timeless isle, to Gorgrond.

I had no idea you could skip the Tanaan part. I will definitely be doing that from now on because fuck that stupid scenario.

I started playing my alliance DH again; I had two legos from last time I played it and I've been running all LFRs, daily heroics, daily emissaries, and some additional heroics/mythics/myth+ on top. Still no legendary drops =/ I am finally about to upgrade the 2nd one to 1000 though.


Does anyone know where havoc DH sits for DPS rankings? Or have the link to overall current DPS rankings.

Had to stop playing the DH I just leveled for now as there's weird "floor" issues going on where you cant do ground attacks in some locations. Also causing havoc with pets + evading mobs are pretty common.

I wouldn't trust "overall dps rankings" as it doesn't show the entire picture. There are a few fights they excel at like Kin'garoth they are great when you need on demand burst for the adds (most save meta/nemesis). basically any fight that relies on windows of high burst they do excellent. fights that are prolonged single target fights they tend to fall behind. overall logs probably show them low in the dps category but it won't give the complete picture of how useful they are.

This is my experience playing a DPS DH in a shit tier heroic guild

Every class is close enough in power level that unless you are pushing world first it literally doesn't matter. Unless of course you lick windows, then play Fire Mage.

I haven't noticed this but I'm playing casually. Only Antorus I've done is LFR.

Really wish I had this char on horde hyjal for the guild but fuck their $55 to transfer and faction change. I really like the playstyle and "feel" of it.

Interesting so with the recruit a friend bonus they are basically getting xp boost equal to what full set of heirloom bonus would be then or close? I can sort of see it if you want people to get introduced to the game the old bonus kinda defeats the purpose a bit I guess. Still if the bonus is similar to what full heirloom stuff is giving that is still pretty quick leveling wise.

Full heirlooms (head 10, shoulder 10, chest 10, legs 10, cloak 5, ring 5) is 50%. If you get the fishing ring you get another 5% - I wish they made that one easier to get, too.

Yeah, Blizzard would be well aware of the numbers, and I think the change was inevitable. They simply had to plug this hole, because it pretty much invalidated the changes they've made in 7.3.5 for the "RAF boosters". Notice the wording in the announcement is careful to make no mention of anyone but = NEW = players. If I was a new player, and coming on board with a friend for the first time, I would be more than happy to enjoy the "full experience" (tm).

edit: Since all new players now get a free boost, and the ability to trial all classes at 100; no "friend" has to slog through the content for the first time anyway, unlike previous expansions.

Blizzard doesn't need to worry about the people with multiple max characters or multiple accounts. Some will rage on the forums, or even rage quit (I did once), and them come crawling back soon enough (I did).:D

It's the only game in town worth playing, and with the new expansion on the horizon, the storm will blow over soon enough.

They made it much easier to get. It goes to the first 50 people who complete the event or something like that now (used to only be the first 2)

Wow gorgeous. I've tried other UIs but always hated their emphasis on numbers and data. Thats nice to flip on, but you dont need it all the time, especially leveling.

Well you are your friend played the game wrong.. Don't let it happen again. Oh and to make sure of it stuff your heirlooms up your asshole,, They should refund the gold for them.

What it tells me is that BfA is going to be a shallow expansion and they are relying on retaining number via leveling allied races. I hope I'm wrong.
