You mean just pets from Legion, or pets in general? Specifically from Legion, the four falcosaur hatchling pets are really good. They're an awesome team for doing daily quests/achievements, and they can fit into pvp pet teams pretty well also.

If you do archaeology, Wyrmy Tunkins is really easy to get and pretty powerful in both pve and pvp pet battles. I use him in a lot of my teams for both purposes. Jar of Smelly Liquid (slows enemy and they do %50 damage next round) is great for neutering some powerful abilities. It also combines well with the humanoid bonus of healing each round. He makes a good pseudo-tank pet.
You can get a close equivalent of him with the Horde Fanatic via pvp.

At level 24 I gained a full level in the Stockades between the exp and the quest (which was 20k). This seems to be about on par with what it was before the patch. I did not play between the two patches.

Maybe since I'm in my mid 40's, maybe I've leveled so many characters in this game or having kids just drained every ounce of patience out of me that I couldn't level a character from 1 to max level in WoW. Despite how good the leveling experience is I hate leveling now. I would rather pay for a boost to 100 and finish off from there. I know some people don't agree with this but I rather spend 2 hours of work hours to pay for a boost rather than spend a few days leveling.

The zone scaling is a great idea, especially for quest flow and getting to play together. The big increases to mob HP, the increased needed XP per level up to 60 and the nerfs to the heirlooms are not. They are stupid in that combination. It feels like overcompensation.
Most probably Blizzard looked at the numbers for new player retention and figured out that the game looked dead to them: Nobody was ever in the world questing, except maybe for the bored high level players looking for a lowbie to gank on PvP servers. In their opinion existing players will bitch and moan about the changes, but they will keep playing anyways since they have max level toons already.

Leveling a dps class felt faster or the same. I played for 2 hours and went from 24 to 35 on a mage. You used to not be able to quest, now I can do things while waiting on queue. Mechanics on bosses in dungeons is stupid and has caused several wipes. No one needs to wipe on a level 30 dungeon.
For a tank character it felt about the same. Stuff took longer but I got more exp because quests scale to your level.

I was gonna be all like "www.honorbuddy.com" jokes. But then I just learned that way back in April 17, Blizzard won the case against GMBH(bossland). 8.5 million awarded. RIP to all the buddy products that worked with Blizzard games lol.

I have been leveling my dk and have gone from 58 to 69 and still not quite finished howling fjord yet so leveling seem plenty fast. Biggest change is chain running dungeons is not a great way to speed level. You still want to do each dungeon once but not just sit in org/storm wind doing nothing but dungeons. That is probably a healthy for the game for new players.

Great, just realized my 30ilvl lower t20 will put out higher dps, that's just how powerful the set bonus is, and how much more important jewelry is than armor slots. Also note how close my 2/2/2 is. What the actual fuck.
My secondary stats are worth literally twice that of Intellect, that using the 100 stat+Movement speed enchant from Draenor is actually better than the 200 int enchant.

They recommend for brm having t20 for defense and ignore t21 entirely unless the stats are good. That's how bad blizzard fucked up t21. I'm told to ignore the set.
