I don't know if they do it right at release but usually fairly shortly after the launch of the new expansion they roll the previous expansion into the base game.

So it looks like Alliance is going to get fat humans as an allied race eventually.

I'm going to make one and walk slow everywhere and complain about my knees. Once in a while I'll get winded and sit down and ask if anyone in the group has a cheeseburger.

I tuned in to my guilds twitch stream last night to watch them wipe on Argus sub 2% for 4-5 attempts....i think they are over 600 wipes at this point.

that fights last overlap is such a kick in the dick.

Guild is working on Aggramar, 160 wipes so far and plans to extend the ID till it and Argus dies. I don't see them surviving that long before massive burnout.

Unless everybody has maximized their gear that seems counterproductive. Better to run through the bosses proven to be killable to gear people up some more which should make argus easier.

Average raid ilvl is 974, so not sure more farm is worth more than the pulls. It's really just a matter of people getting bored.

we started extending on aggramar as well, took my guild 90ish wipes. they also had a tank swap in there because it was during the time i retired. i think its fine to extend at aggramar, otherwise you won't get the number of pulls necessary to make progress. it would still take 2 days to clear up to aggramar and you would get 1 decent day of progression, especially if you stumble on Imoner or Kingoroth on the way.

As I recall, both legion and WoD had their preceding expansions integrated into the WoW Battle Chest (or whatever they’re calling the all-in-one these days) about a month prior to the expansion launch. It roughly coincided with the prepatch.

Cool. I think I'll hold off on looking into the world of Azeroth until next year.
