There's so many random 'leaks' it's hard to separate the shit from the shake.

Edit:
World of Warcraft Team

Alex Afrasiabi (Furor) - He started out as a Quest Designer, then Lead Quest Designer up until WoTLK, then Lead World Designer in Cataclysm, then he disappeared after Tigole announced he was moving to another project (Titan), but he is apparently now back as Creative Director for the next expansion!

Craig Amai - He was a previously a Game Designer, and is now the Lead Quest Designer for the next expansion.
Dave Kosak - He was previously Lead Quest Designer, and is now the Lead Narrative Designer for the next expansion.

Heroes of the Storm Team

Dustin Browder - He was Game Director for StarCraft II, and is now Game Director for Heroes of the Storm
Matt Cooper - He was Game Balance Designer for StarCraft II, and is now Game Designer on Heroes of the Storm
Richard Khoo - He was Game Designer on StarCraft II, and is now Senior Game Designer on Heroes of the Storm
Alexander Sun - He was on the Web Team, then Game Designer on StarCraft II, and is now Senior Game Designer on Heroes of the Storm

Well if anyone was still holding out hope for Blizzard's MOBA you can pack it up, Browder + Cooper are going to fuck that shit up

If anyone follows Mumper on twitter, he's either dropping a hint or trolling. I still think legion with another chunk of draenor or future Outland. But I'm wavering to time travel. :/

Well let's think here. 4.3 came out at the very end of 2011 and then there was a substantial 9 month gap between that and the release of MoP in September 2012. Subsequently the initial raid content trickled out until November 2012 and then the non-raid but otherwise fairly content rich 5.1 was released. 5.2 gave the ThunderKing in Feb 2013 and Siege of Orgrimmar nearly a year after release with a non-raid patch in between.

With a steady decrease in subscriptions I would doubt that they would want to have any greater a gap in content release than they have had recently which would point to <9 months and probably 7 or less. So could they have 6.0 released by early to mid April 2014? Ideally from a subscriber retention standpoint I would think they would push for something significantly shiny by February at the latest as that would be still several months after the last bit of new content was released to consumers.

Gonna laugh so hard if tomorrow they're like "What, you expected an expansion? Try next year LULZ"

That expectation is more unrealistic than believing any of the posted screenshots are real.

With Blizzcon starting tomorrow hopefully someone remembers to locate the guy who included the Battlegrounds in the Wrathion quest line and kick him in the nuts.

I haven't played since WOTLK and I haven't gotten the energy (burnout) to play more than a few days of Cata or MOP. The game has so many additional layers on it now, that I don't know if I could really have fun coming back.

In any case, I wonder if there is some kind of hard reset coming? I heard stuff about an item squish and some time travel. Is the new expansion just going to be another layer on top of the exisitng world or are they maybe going to put in some kind of reset once you get through a lot of the older content? I'm curious.

I heard stuff about an item squish and some time travel.
While we wait for the opening ceremony to troll us with no news of Titan, a few things:

Item squish is what they intend to drop the inflation of damage and stats to reasonable levels. Basically, since every expansion must end with raid items that have about 110% more stats than the previous expansion, you run into problems. The first being that, of course, the first greens you find in an expansion are on par with most raid items of the previous one, and, of course, if you are not into heroic raiding of the last tier, you know you will being raiding on the next expansion with absolutely NONE of your items.

Plus, "Your fireball hits the boss for 1,027,443 damage".

So item squish = items at the start of every expansion prior to this one start equal to the standard dungeons of the previous expansion: greens in Outland have stats equal to tier 1 dungeon set; quest greens in LK are on par with non-heroic Outland dungeons; etc. Reduce slightly the ilvl ramp in dungeons and raids as well.

Illustration: Before squish:

Vanilla: ilvl 5->60 greens, 60-65 blues
Outland: ilvl 90->115 greens, 115 blues,
LK: ilvl 140-> 175 greens, 190 blues,
Cata: ilvl 270->320 greens, 335 blues,
MOP: ilvl 370->440 greens, 460 blues.
Expected for Draenor: ilvl 500->580 greens, 630 blues

After squish:

Vanilla: ilvl 5->60 greens, 60-65 blues
Outland: ilvl 65->90 greens, 95 blues
LK: ilvl 90->120 greens, 125 blues
Cata: ilvl 125->160 greens, 165 blues
MOP: ilvl 165->200 greens, 210 blues
And draenor: ilvl 210->330 greens

In other words, you should have your stats divided by, like 8 or 9. Instead of having 14500 total INT, you'd be "only" at 1500 or so.

Is the new expansion just going to be another layer on top of the exisitng world or are they maybe going to put in some kind of reset once you get through a lot of the older content? I'm curious.
It's going to be a new set of zones, just like every expansion save Cata. The whole "Time travel" is a convoluted lorelol explanation of why we'll end in an unbroken Draenor instead of floating rocks Outland, and get to meet Gul'dan, Ner'zhul, Durotan and all those guys. Although it's going to require a severe suspension of disbelief to queue for an heroic Draenor dungeon straight from the center of present day Exodar.
