Nope, they only give a small azerite cluster (40ish AP).kill most rares I see as well (I think they give war resources the first time you kill them?).

I have full 30 slots, and 3 1/2 of them are perma-full. Between various clickys, archeology tokens, 8 different fishes, 4 (or 5?) different meats, 7 herbs, a set of gear for my alt spec, etc, etc... the only spot for looting stuff is my backpack and 1st bag...I have full 30slot and it's only useful when farming aged content without a gap in the instance to mount and sell shit.
I've gotten upgrades for mostly the same slots from every Mythic I've run. Still 338 here. At least I finally got a weapon, but it's too bad it didn't tf to 355, so I'll have to keep grinding that. Ah, the old wf/tf tryhard game is alive and kicking. After several Mythic runs of seeing fuck-all I actually got two upgrades and a BoE with a socket in Tol Dagor this AM. Rocking 345 ilevel which is pretty damn good for a filthy casual hah.
Even if the Method's and Exorsus' of the world started streaming their Mythic raids in real time with strat commentary it would be almost completely meaningless for everyone not in a top 20 worldwide guild. This isn't EQ. Just having the strat isn't good enough to get a kill. You need a guild full of people who can actually pull it off.
So you're saying it's just like EQ then. Except you don't have to manage 71+ other geared and capable people day in and day out, and can get by with just 19+ other geared and capable people. Makes sense.
In everquests case capable means, "consistently online and can follow simplistic instructions like not attacking during enrage or pressing CH at the right point in the rotation."
Rather than the relative perfection that mythic requires.
People cranking out alts new allied races help fuel this and after wod a lot of people gave up on trade skillingAfter 4ish years of access to not-hard-to-make 30 slot bags, how is there still a large demand for these? I've probably made about 80k just from Deep Sea Bag sales and I'm not really cranking them out, either.
It also meant being available 24/7 because fuck you if you want to raid on a regular schedule. And insane amounts of xp farming because xp loss was real. Then after SoL they started adding lots of mechanics like WOW's. When I was playing again briefly 2-3 years ago raiding was almost exactly like WOW.
I would prefer the 24/7 mechanic over what exists now. I have never found a guild that runs primary raids during the 8 AM-1 PM Eastern Standard Time slot. My work schedule prevents me from raiding at the primary times save for my off days. It sucks because I find it hard to believe that I am that rare of a player in the Unites States. So I miss the days when 24/7 actually did matter and the off time players were valuable for guilds to have for progression.
