He wasn't fired. He was moved to the World of Diablo (or whatever the big unannounced is) that probably had major pvp difficulties to fix those, and he's their "PvP specialist". Now his "loan" is finished, he's back.

Started levelling dk and DH. Both are pretty quick but DH is so much fun to play, damn

Keep an eye on the Legion Invasion timers. At 110 they still give retarded experience so you can blast to 111 in no time, to give yourself a better jump through trollville.

Its hard to come back from the double jump/glide built in stuff and they are so speedy that going from a Demon hunter to a dk makes you feel like you tied lead weights to your feet.

If you have full rested a few normal island runs is sufficient to hit 111 super fast. Did it a couple times last weekend to get some pvp alts to join friends in sub 120 pvp. Its really painless and I even got a couple of pets for doing it.

It takes like 2 Invasions to hit 111 and they can be done in five minutes with the ability to fly in Broken Isles. EACH Invasion world quest gives like 65k-65k experience. You can also solo them, which is why I recommend them.
So if you see one up, its usually a good idea to jump on it for 110-111.

This is very true. A lot of 120s are doing normals just to hunt for items and if you get a good paladin or DH or blood DK they can pull basically the entire fucking island on normal and just grind it down. My 110 disc priest was hitting some hilarious DPS levels holy noving+haloing the entire island worth of things. When doing this be REALLY careful of ground effects. Keep the pack moving if you sit still to long you can get blown up with a quickness.

This is very true it is very worth at least looking to see if an invasion is up. if it is do it if not and you just want to blast through 110 fast islands are a really solid option. Also with 8.1 there are going to be invasions in BFA areas as well so curious of those are as strong leveling gains as the legion ones. If so BFA is going to be one of the more alt friendly leveling experiences we have seen for this new of an expansion.

Yeah. I basically had characters at 110 I had no intention of working on leveling up yet, but kept an eye out for the invasions, and quickly busted them out. The invasions are on a static timer that sites like Wowhead still monitor, so you can just check to see if it lines up.

Thanks. I forgot about invasions. I hit 110.5 in like 20 minutes doing regular levelling but next time I'm on I'll check
