That's too slow. People consume content too fast now. People don't experience anything, they race to be at the same power level as some shitlord streamer.

I feel like they made a big mistake not having WoW classic be some sort of accelerated progression servers. An expansion every 3 to 4 months with content patches being spread out over that time. People need something new every week or two or they get bored.

Naxx 40 still forever my favorite, the nostalgia. But Ulduar right up there. Not sure I'd have ICC quite that high but it was extremely good as well. Rest of raids for Wrath were extremely shit, though.

There's nothing really saying it's a WOTLK 2, it still might be a Shadowlands 2. Icecrown is what connects Azeroth to the Shadowlands. He undoubtedly will have a huge role to play but I kinda hope they don't just Arthas2 it up and he's just the endboss of the entire thing.

IDK either way I guess it's time to be an edgelord again

Who knows. Blizz might be too lazy to pull it off, but it actually makes perfect sense for Tinker to have 4 specs, with a melee and ranged DPS option.

Real question is whether it's going to be Gnome and Goblin only.

I still don't know how a Tinkerer would fit into this expansion at all. It's a fun fan theory though. And I would ABSOLUTELY play it. There is enough tinkerer content already in the game, even as far back as Warcraft 3 that they can draw from to make a complete class, but it just feels weird they haven't yet and feels even weirder that they would after Mechagon is already.. done? ya know?

Guess we'll see.

I'm kind of leaning more on them making a 4th spec for everyone to be honest. That's the only way I see classes getting new abilities lmao

An entire Tinker-themed expansion would be kind of dumb. But there's lots of things they could do to create some kind of link. Possible that Tinkers create the devices that opens the link to the Shadowlands, or helps us survive the death forces within it, etc.

Like you said, they're one of the last classes that have significant Warcraft history that haven't already been cannibalized to fill out the other classes.

I also feel like it's insane that there's still only one ranged physical, and even then it's really only 1 spec out of 3. (kinda 2). I don't see a point in adding one just to have one but come on lol

Throne of the Thunderking and Siege were some of my favorite raids of all time. I thought the last one in Legion and Suramar City was also top notch. Of course nothing compares to Ulduar. That was WOW at pinnacle creativity.

It's BFA, but I really thought Dazar'alor was fantastic. Def top 5 for me. Maybe even top 3. I'd say Vanilla Naxx is my #1 but I think it's more because so few people even got to experience it so it feels prestigious to me.

Tinker doesn't really make sense to me. They have a hard enough time giving class identity to the current class selection, adding another just wouldn't be smart.

Also tinker class sounds stupid

Yeah, we get a new class every other expansion, and it's always busted as fuck. Gotta move them units.

Unfortunately for Blizzard, they fucked up with MOP and their busted new class was weird and confusing and started at level 1, so nobody played it. They learned their lesson from that though, so Demon Hunters started in spitting distance of level cap and with a 2 button dps spec to keep lil timmy happy as a pig in shit.

Cynical jokes aside, Demon Hunter is one of the absolute best feeling classes to actually play in the overworld. Great alt.
